Buck Mason — Local services in San Francisco

I really like the clothes here. The t-shirts in particular are very well made, come in a variety of cuts and colors and, at least some of them (check the labels if it's important to you) are made in the USA.

I bought several things online before deciding I only live 20 miles from the SF store I should just go check it out. My girlfriend and I braved the 101 and stopped in.

The good news is that the store is very nice. The bad news is that the person "helping" us clearly found our presence in the store to be a real nuisance. This would have normally been fine as I don't really like being helped, but basic questions were met with eye rolls. It was an unpleasant feeling the whole time we were in the store. It was made worse by the other staff member tripping over himself to help the other customer in the store.

Again, I love their clothing. But I don't recommend visiting their retail location in...

The description says men’s clothing but they also have super cute women’s jeans, shirts, jackets, and sweaters.

A sweet sales person immediately greeted us. She asked if we had ever been in the store. It was my first time and she gave a nice intro. Plus, she offered us water. This is the only store I’ve been in lately to have gone out of their way to please the customer.

While waiting for a fitting room (you have to give them your name to be placed on a waiting list), I looked through some of their books. They are so so great! For example, they had a photography book of Dirk Reinartz.

My bf, who has super good taste, commented that they decorated just as he did in his house. Up to the record player and amplifier.

Buck Mason is definitely having a good moment style-wise as a brand, but this particular store solidifies the experience with the customer service they provide.

Shout out to Jasmin, who has been an absolute saint dealing with me as I asked to try on a number of items, but also provided great feedback as I was thinking through different combinations.

I’m partial to shopping in person, so I hope Buck Mason can keep this level of quality on both their products and staff because they have found a fan in me. I think the only negative is that I ended up spending more than anticipated...
