We had an outstanding experience at Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery on Valencia Street. My partner and I bought a Thermador built-in refrigerator, and from start to finish, everything was seamless. The showroom is gorgeous, showcasing an impressive range of products. Rosa, our salesperson, was a dream to work with. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and respectful of our decision-making process. Rosa provided us with all the information we needed, from pricing to specs on our top three choices, and never once tried to pressure us into buying. We chose a Thermador refrigerator, and it’s absolutely stunning. As a bonus, Ferguson included a free matching dishwasher!
The installation process was equally remarkable. Alberto and his team went above and beyond to deliver and install our new appliances. They managed to haul everything up 55 stairs to our third-floor walk-up without a single scratch on the walls. Alberto was meticulous in ensuring the fridge and dishwasher were perfectly aligned and level with our existing cabinetry, making multiple adjustments until everything was just right. We have purchased 3 units of Miele appliances and Ferguson’s were the chosen outfitter for the installation. Unprofessional, argumentative, almost hostile. It feels almost like a predatory practice, looking for something for which to charge you extra. The dishwasher and the oven went in without a big fuss, but then there was a microwave! For some reason, Miele didn’t order a trim kit to make it to 36”, so we had to reschedule. When they installed it, it was uneven, parts were rocking, not what a $2500 appliance should look like. I complained, of course, and asked to have someone else sent to fix the terrible installation. They didn’t. They sent the same people, who seemed to always be in a rush and didn’t want to deal with any unforeseen issues. When problems were encountered they would offer to deal with them, but only for exorbitant additional amounts. These installers reflect poorly on both Ferguson and Miele: not exactly “concierge white glove installation” for which we paid $180...

I spent some time at the showroom and decided to spend more money to go with all brass and discussed that I specifically wanted to limit hassle and have high quality. Unfortunately the faucet from Newport Brass was a lemon and my plumber spent 2 hours of labor installing, taking it out, trouble shooting, re installing new one, taking in and out the other stuff. They sent a new one that is functioning but the worst part is that I have been trying for 2 weeks for Ferguson's to have Newport Brass pay for the plumber or discount the product by that cost. I have called and emailed about 7 times. Today yet again I was promised by Shantee, a call back from the supervisor Tonya,-- I just called and they are closed. No call back.
