Fillmore Karaoke — Local services in San Francisco

The best! I have never found anywhere better. I am Karaoke connoisseur. At the time of going here this was my second place I tried for Karaoke and from than on I have never found a place as good as here. I have been going here since I was 15. So around 6 years going here.

Price per hour is extremely cheap, quality of music/music videos is amazing, sound system and the enormous amount of songs they have is insane. They are doing what other Karaoke places should've been doing. Awesome system they have in the rooms. My favorite thing is that you can play the actual song and sing over it. I hate Karaoke versions of songs. They actually let you choose because Karaoke or the Original, you can even flip back and forth between karaoke version and the real song while Karaoking.. it won't even lose a beat. To me Fillmore Karaoke is perfect, I have had some amazing memories there, even my 19th Birthday was celebrated in their big room upstairs. Another occasion I was here with my friends all night having one last karaoke session. We stayed until I had 3 hours to get to my flight.

Choice's in: English, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, and even Japanese songs. I've even seen Spanish songs. There are a ton of songs in all the languages mentioned. New One's, One Hit Wonder's, and Classics. They always have the legends too, of all the languages mentioned above. They had songs I didn't even expect them to have. I am serious their song selection isn't weak at all regardless what language you speak.

If you grew up in SF, are of Asian Descent, or love Kpop you already know of Fillmore Karaoke. I have gone here countless times with people and only sung the English songs and had a great time. Please don't think it doesn't because it has the largest selection I have seen ever.

Edit 05/16/2018: I have lived in NYC for two years. No where in the whole United States ever compares to Fillmore Karaoke. They are the best. Again nothing compares. It's unbelievable I stopped trying other places, NYC is the worst place for karaoke. Super overpriced, lame song choices, and only karaoke versions. When I fly back to California I always come more than once to Fillmore Karaoke and have hours of fun.

Two of us went on a weekend during their happy hour hours. We were there for about 1.5 hours and it was $24 total, happy hour is $18/ hr for a small room (fits 1-5). They allow outside food and drinks which is nice, but they have basic beverages available too. There’s a market, boba guys, Popeyes, and Starbucks within the area.

They have a very nice selection of songs. We went for Mandarin, Cantonese, and English songs. By the end we were very satisfied with the sound system and the sound proofing of the place.

It’s not your flashy karaoke place (themed rooms) that overcharges. It’s a small business that allows you and your friends to have a good time. It’s especially good for people to practice on their own as well if you need some practice because the prices are really friendly. They charge per room per hour and not per person like some places I’ve been to (not in Bay Area).

Fillmore has an easy to use touch screen system that has updated songs (usually up to the last month popular hits), pretty good song selection in general, and reasonable happy hour rates (before 9 pm around $14/hr for small room). The sound system is also easy to adjust, with limited feedback on microphones.
