WashClub Bay Area — Local services in San Francisco

Hi there. I use their wash pick up and delivery service. I am positively impressed! After getting a $650/month PG&E gas bill, my head exploded. They are the WORST COMPANY ON EARTH....but that is for another review. So I decided to try Bay Area Wash Club as it had good reviews. Their pickup times are reliable and convenient. Prices are reasonable. When the laundry is returned it is wrapped in a red duffel bag, wrapped in individual plastic and all impeccably folded. Even t-shirts were the right side out when folded-- I have trouble doing that. Clothes are cleaner and whiter than if I wash them in my Maytag. They have a clean scent, too. It's just like the Lost in Space laundry machine.....dirty wrinkled rags go in, spotlessly clean, folded and wrapped clothes come out----- and you are ready to fight cosmic monsters! An added benefit is that I don't have to watch the clock doing multiple loads of clothes and go up and down the stairs. It takes most of a day. Now I have lots of free time on the weekend that I don't know what to do with....except possibly writing long reviews or novels. Take a tip from me: let the washer and dryer have a vacation, let PG$E (oops) go to Hades--- and use Wash Club Bay Area. I like it,...

THEY LOST OUR CLOTHES!!! Said they were probably delivered to another customer and to keep our fingers crossed that they’ll be returned. BEWARE!! My maternity dresses are gone and my husbands dress shirts are gone. They don’t make the reimbursement process to cover their mistakes easy either. They told us that we had to retrieve every receipt with a date at the top and credit card transactions to verify that we actually purchased items in order to get a reimbursement. This place is great in terms of picking up and dropping with a short turn around time. The only issue is the person that delivers is obviously a smoker and my personal laundry bags which I bought specifically for this delivery purpose come back smelling like cigarettes. Luckily the smell doesn't get inside and affect my clothes but it's still gross to have to bring in something that reeks into your home. Also, they kind of fold haphazardly. Maybe I'm just too picky when I fold and make sure sheets etc line up. Not a huge deal but I do have to...
