This tour is well worth your time and this is probably the best two hours I have ever spent in San Francisco! Greg is such a wonderful guide, and the tour is a great balance between seeing stunning stairways and learning about the history of the stairways and the area. As an added bonus, he will take photos for you or your group at the stairways (which was great for me because I was traveling solo). This tour is perfect for solo or group travelers. To give an idea of how highly I regard this tour, I made a day trip from the Los Angeles area (flew into San Francisco in the morning and flew out the same day in the evening) and thought this was the highlight of the day by far. I also grew up across the Bay and had visited San Francisco multiple times in the past, and this has been THE highlight across all of my travels to San Francisco. As an added bonus, the tour starts/ends decently close to Golden Gate Park (if you are interested in checking that out). Greg will also provide fantastic recommendations if you're looking for anything particular in the area. If you're on the fence about this tour,...
Read moreWe had a wonderful time with Greg!! He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and definitely a great story teller. I have been living in SF for 7 years and heard of those beautiful stairways but I imagine it won’t be the same if we were there ourselves without Greg. Of course you would still be able to take a bunch of really cool photos just by going there yourselves, but you won’t get to learn about the inspiring stories and fun facts that Greg as a true local and who is so well connected to that neighborhood would share. Oh and that Greg took a lot of good photos and made a cool video for me, myself and my little pup, which is what I did not anticipate at all. Thank you Greg you are a wonderful tour guide and person. Even though now I know exactly about the itinerary for this tour, I will still sign up again when I have new...
Read moreGreg’s tour of the Hidden Garden Stairs of the Inner Sunset is great for both San Franciscans and visitors. We live near the stairs and see him on our block several times a week, giving tours. We were intrigued, so we signed up for one. We are so glad we did. In addition to being a completely lovely person, Greg brings the tour to life by providing a wealth of knowledge about the history of the neighborhood and the stairs. He has also mastered modern technology, and provides a route map, family photos, group photos, and historic photos at the end of the tour so that you can just enjoy the walk. His walk is so popular that he has repeat guests, including one with her son on the day of the tour. If you want more insight into the city, Greg’s tour is a great...
