Terrible service and gave me wrong information as well. I had 2 paper bills - each worth 20 British pounds. I wanted to exchange them for US dollars. The lady behind the counter refused to take them because they had a picture of Queen Elizabeth (who recently died) on them! Incredulous, I asked her if they were worthless and she said yes. Finding that hard to believe, I checked online and found out that they are still perfectly legal currency (in spite of the queen's death) and that bills with a picture of King Charles won't even be available for at least another year. I then called another currency exchange service less than a mile away, and they agreed to exchange my British pounds (with a picture of the Queen) ...

I was looking to obtain last minute Mexican pesos, and I called and was greeted by a friendly customer service agent who informed me that they had the amount of pesos I desired and that I could pick them up today. I went to the business a couple hours later and the transaction was quick and simple. The customer service agent was very friendly, professional, and honest and open about the rate of exchange, which I greatly appreciated. She even ran the amount of pesos through the automatic money counter two times to ensure accuracy. The fee is only a $3 flat rate. This is a massive warning for people interested in coming here, this place makes up their exchange rates on the fly, DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE $3 charge designed to get you in the door.

They will give you a very bad exchange rate and bet that you will not ask any questions. I exchanged my dollars to a foreign country and when I came here they gave me a fraction of the dollar.

Since exchange rates can be confusing they try to keep you in the dark as possible and act like they're trying to help you but robbing you blind.

Best advice is do your research and ask them point blank how much your dollar is getting against the country you're traveling to.
