Golden Edge Pizza — Restaurant in San Francisco

This is THE BEST PIZZA ever! Our family of 4 were sightseeing at gg park, so by lunchtime, we were tired and hungry. And the only thing we could agree on for lunch was Pizza.

AND MAN DID WE HIT THE JACKPOT!

It’s the pizza you want to eat when you are craving a big slice of cheesy hot pizza!

I don’t know how they do it, but they make the crust soft and crunchy at the same time. The owner Ahmed was so kind and they let us know that their pepperoni and their sausage is made with beef, not pork. So my husband was able to eat a slice of pepperoni pizza for the first time in over 15 years because he does not eat pork!

The wings were also amazing crispy and savory, juicy on the inside!

We had a family size pizza and it was more than enough for 4 (I would say it could feed about 6!) we had half jalepeno&sausage/pepperoni pizza.

Bonus! They carry Shasta Tiki Punch (iykyk!) They have a great selection of sodas!

ONE OF THE BEST CALZONES IN THE BAY AREA!

I have been looking all over for the perfect calzones and this place checks off all the boxes. I know each restaurant has their own way of making their calzones. A lot of the ones I saw were either too small, too much batter or looks too bulky. The calzones here are a work of art. I mean.. the picture says it all. They do not skip on any ingredients. It's the perfect amount of crust. The crescent shape is the definition of perfect. It tasted even better than it looks. We got the Meatlovers Calzone with pesto. $24 for a medium is win for me.

The service was 10/5. The staff is super nice and patient. We were torn between the Meatlovers Calzone and the Pesto Calzone. We asked if we could substitute the red sauce on the Meatlovers with pesto and they were more than happy to make that change. Places like this deserve all my respect and I will definitely be coming back...

Oh man! Best pizza I’ve tried in the Richmond District!(the only other place that sells pizza in the Richmond is Domino’s but this place beats Domino’s by a long shot & Gaspare’s but dare I say it, Golden Edge Pizza tops Garspare’s! don’t get me wrong Gaspare’s is really good but this place beats it, sorry Gaspare’s you’ve lost first place)They only do thin slice pizza, just the way I like it too! It seems like the man doing the pizza’s is the dad & the sons are the delivery drivers, fresh ingredients & the pizza comes out pipping hot from the oven to your hands! I can go & on raving about this place, just do yourself a favor, & head to this place & see for yourself what I’m talking about! Two thumbs way up high for this place.
