I just experience the worse customer service. I've heard nothing but great things about Homebase and their tools and thought I would check it out. So I read about them and did the trial and wanted to set an appointment up with an agent from Homebase when they contacted me. They scheduled me for a call on Friday, they missed it, didn't call or email me anything. Then another agent contacted Monday similarly to the first, asking for a call. I told him that I had a call on Friday and I was never called nor contacted that day. I then reschedule for today, and nothing no call, no text.
This is the response I get when I text them about missing the call: (I wasn't too nice in my response, I was upset.)
"Mike I can understand who are can feel, I was on a call that went over. Patience is everything for an older lady thats not sure on how to use a computer. I wanna be there for you and answer all questions you may have"
I was just taken by the fact that there was no apology to start with. Then I question why in that time I wasn't sent an email/text during the call? That would have fixed this, instead of me sitting waiting for a call a second time. Also, by the text, I felt like attention to detail wasn't important to this agent, and makes me feel like I was fed a made up excuse. I would have been fine with, "I'm sorry I missed our scheduled time, I was caught up on call that went way over the expected time. I can understand if you are upset, however you are important to us and if you need to reschedule yet again, I can assure you we won't miss the next time."

Read moreTERRIBLE COMPANY. Please if you are thinking of using them for payroll DONT. They messed up our import from ADP which in turn messed up everyones W-2. They were aware of this issue on January 18th. Fast forward to middle of March finally got our W-2c which were INCORRECT. We informed them promptly got our bookkeeper involved where we had to find out everyones correct info ourselves even though they had access to all of that information. Tells my bookkeeper that they cannot use her spreadsheet she made with correct info. Then proceeds to send us another round of W-2c WHICH WERE STILL INCORRECT! Now here we are April 3rd and don't have proper corrected W-2's. It's almost near impossible to get ahold of someone. We have emailed haven't heard anything, called sat waiting on the call for over 30 minutes then prompted me to leave a voicemail, now I'm in a chat with someone from the company who has told me to leave them my number for a call back.
