I was pleasantly surprised with the food from Oasis. I've been on an endless search for good, reasonably price Mediterranean food, and while this wasn't a complete homerun, it's better than a lot of places I've tried.
Mezza plate - 3 stars. A vegetarian sampler platter with two falafel patties, hummus, Mediterranean salad, tabouli, Greek salad, cucumber and yogurt, red cabbage, and a dolma. The hot sauce was perfect, balanced between flavor and heat, and added to the other parts of the platter. The falafel was properly green inside, crispy on the outside, and packed chick pea, sesame, and parsley into each bite. They held together and weren't dry, which is key. The hummus was chunky, full of lemon and chickpea flavors. The Greek salad was nothing, it didn't add to the dish but it didn't subtract either. The cucumber yogurt sauce was thick, just how I like it. The smoky eggplant dip was yellower than I'm used to, but had chunks of herbs and pepper, proper smoke, and was complemented well by the hot sauce. The dolma was citrusy and fresh, not too dense, not dry.
Lamb shwarma - 5 stars. I really enjoyed this sandwich. Seasoned sliced shwarma lamb wrapped in a lavash with hummus, sumac, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and tahini. The tahini is key. It was well portioned, keeping the sandwich from becoming dry. The lavash was thin and soft, not overly crisped such that the sandwich held together instead of falling apart. The lamb was tender, the sliced onions provided some brightness to the heavier tahini and hummus, and altogether the flavors blended seamlessly.
Overall, this was a lot of food. The shwarma was huge and the mezza came with pita so between the two of them, this lasted me three meals. At a reasonable price, I'm very happy...

The online menu prices are lower than those charged in the store. After ordering and picking up, I felt like the final bill was a bit higher than expected. Went home and checked my receipt against the menu and, yes, the online menu prices were indeed lower.
The difference was about five dollars (not a big deal, right?). We called and the person that answered was extremely stand-offish, had no intention of apologizing, and the conversation quickly devolved into a shouting match. The lady on the phone was outright hostile despite being on the wrong side of the issue. She also indicated that the prices were higher because of taxes charged (despite the amount of taxes clearly stated on the receipt as a separate line item).
Extremely poor customer service. Disheartening considering that we were in the right. An acknowledgement of our concerns would have gone a long way, we weren't looking for free food or some other type of concession. Just some understanding.

When we called the restaurant, the manager said he wasn't able to refund over the phone but asked us to come back. Super weird but he didn't share his name when we initially asked, only on the second request did he share a name which we later embarrassingly found out to be fake..
A few hours later in the restaurant, when I asked to speak to "L" the whole staff said there is no "L" and we have the wrong restaurant. Anyway the kicker is that I patiently waited in line with all the other patrons, but when it was my turn the cashier wanted to first help the patrons behind me?!? Because I wanted my money back for the entree I never received?? I obviously refused... anyway after reluctantly refunding in cash, the assistant manager made a dismissive comment that I should wait at the end of the line next time... what do you think I did for the past 20 minutes?
