This is the best incense/ scent store in San Francisco without a doubt in my mind! The service is personable, the supply is plenty and diverse, the accessories/decor available are so unique. Thank you for keeping your doors open and allowing folks like me to shop. I appreciate the time that the clerk has taken to explain how to use the small ball incense holder with a ring to stabilize the stick as it burns. It looks and smells wonderful every time :) đ
They have beautiful tea towels, stunning ceramic incense burning dishes, and countless other items that will likely pique your curiosity. đ§
If youâre into scents and Japanese decor, this is definitely the place for you. Easily accessible via bus. Itâs a looooong walk from BART so I would not suggest that mode of transit to get here. Bus stops are on Fillmore and Webster and Post st for Japantownâs Kinokinuya mall. đ

I don't know if they're just waiting to make a sell, but it feels like they're expecting you to steal something. Which is kind of insulting. It's uncomfortable. I try not to hold this against them too much, I'm sure they've just had a lot of problem with people stealing, and have become overly cautious...

My mom got me one from this shop for $6 and it loves being in the bathroom with me on the windowsill. I should add that I don't have everything, far from it. I'm just saying that this would be a nice gift for someone like that -- everyone knows that person. In my case, that happens to be my mom. She also bought one for herself (oh the irony) but it died.
This shop also sells mugs, incense, Pacifica scents and other gift-y items. I find their prices to be quite reasonable and the folks that work here are...
