My family has been supporting The Guardsmen for 45+ years. Any fundraising event they put on is to the nines! All proceeds go to: sending at-risk youth to summer camp, and the same demographic to charter/private schools K-12.

The Pumpkin 🎃 Patch has a great atmosphere, with lots of activities for kids, photo opportunities for everyone, and a bar with festive drinks.

The Christmas Tree 🎄 Lot is the staple, and HQ of The Guardsmen. It sells 6,500+ Xmas trees per season. All the workers are kind and genuinely helpful. It can be busy, so brace yourself for longish wait times. They have jumpee houses for kids, a lounge w/ TVs (sports games), and an OPEN-BAR with cocktails, draft beer, and wine. I highly recommend stopping at the bar first for an enhanced tree-buying experience 😉 they also have several events happening throughout the tree lot season, so ask someone in a green jumpsuit to find out more details. THE GUARDSMEN Christmas Trees offer an amazing experience that makes it worth the higher price compared to other places in the city. The entire setup is thoughtfully designed—you can select your tree indoors, which is a huge plus! They have a wide selection of trees, and the staff are incredibly nice and helpful. The bonus features make it even better: there are bouncy houses for kids and alcoholic beverages for adults, creating a fun and festive atmosphere. While we did see a similar tree for half the price at the Embarcadero tree lot, the overall experience and knowing how thoughtfully sourced the trees are makes us committed to returning to THE GUARDSMEN next year.
