If you dont like ants and want an actual breakfast, dont stay here. We stayed here because it had good reviews and free parking. So although it was priced the same as others in the area it seemed like a good deal. We arrived very late due to major weather delays at the airport. The manager was angry when we showed up because apparently they tried contacting me to authorize my cc after I called to say our flight was delayed and I didnt answer. I was on an airplane obviouslyi couldn't answer. I also want to know why I was being charged before checkout. What if I wanted it on a different card? Which is exactly what I wanted. The manager was gracious with the fact that by the time we arrived, due to multiple charges and refunds from airline flight changes etc. My card had been locked by amex fraud prevention. She also was pretty happy the next morning. However when I told her there were ants in the room when I woke up and I couldn't do my makeup at the sink due to them crawling on my stuff. She apologized but then said the ants were probably due to food in the room because they dont have ants usually. I told her we didnt have food, but she just said she'd check it out. The walls look like there was a fight in the room. I'm sure it's just scuffs from luggage but they could try to wash the doors and walls better. There was still toothpaste on the wall from someone else before us. The toilet also rocked back and forth when we sat on it, like it was installed improperly. Imagine sitting on that day 3am. At least the beds were comfy. Breakfast is not an actual breakfast. There are some gas station type muffins and little debbie type pastries in the office.

Book it! There's a reason why this motel has high reviews.great price for what you get. Has everything I was looking for. Very clean property, microwave and refrigerator, ice machine , comfortable bed, awesome shower flow, LG tv , A/C if you need it and safe location. Didn't see any homeless in the area like you would if you stayed at fisherman's wharf location, which is 30 minute walk or $12 Uber ride away. You also have free parking and 2 gas stations just around the corner. Laundry facility is also a couple minutes walk around the corner. Noise not that bad compare to homeless and people noise you'll hear at a hotel at fisherman's wharf. I definitely recommend this motel

The truth. I am not sure how this hotel receives it's great reviews. It's a mold infested, run down nightmare. As you will see in the pictures, there is mold, worn out furniture, barely enough room to even turn around, windows so dirty you can't even see outside, with damaged and dirty walls/floors. Our experience started with me smashing my finger trying to open the door to the room. It only opens half way and runs into a cabinet behind. I am somewhat sensitive to mold and my sinuses were plugged immediately and my nose started pouring. As you can see it's on all the windows and corners of the room. I asked to move rooms and was told this is what I paid for and that's all there is. Great service!|The furniture is beat up and worn out. Our hair dryer assembly (wall mount, bracket, cord and hairdryer were all laying below the sink and you had to hold the whole assembly to use it. Not sure why it wasn't mounted on the wall? Oh wait , the bracket from the old hair dryer is still on the wall. So let's throw a newer one beneath the sink..|You can barely move in this room and 2 suitcases made it worse. We are travelling right? It would be nice not to trip over luggage because it has to sit in the only walking space you have.|Dirty carpets, blood on the ceiling, dirt on the walls, mold, windows so dirty you can't see ..... There is a trend here and it's not a good one.|We prepaid for this room and considering the previous response I received figured we may as well make it work as no refund was coming if we left.|The location worked for our purposes. Traffic and party noise until 3 am from the surrounding area is not conducive for a great sleep.|I would skip this one folks and stay...

Staying at the Sea Side Inn in 1750 Lombard street was the worst experience in my 40 years of traveling around the world. I had plan to leave San Francisco to Los Angeles very early on that Saturday morning Dec 7, the two story hotel building had no elevator, as I had one big suit case and 2 big bags I had to make two trips to bring the luggage down to my car inside the hotel parking lot. I brought down the first two bags leaving the car unlocked as it was 5 a.m., by the time I went up stairs and bring down the other case everything was stolen from the car , it happened in a matter of couple minutes. It was the most devasting thing that happened to me as I had in one bag my wallet credit cards , cash, driving license etc. so everything was gone including the two bags full of Christmas gifts and personal belonging. At 5.10 I called the police and because they were off shift, they showed up at 8.30 a.m. Meantime I checked with the lady at the reception the record of the security video camera, suddenly it was off, last time recorded was back in October. My only chance to give some evidence of the suspect to the police was denied by the hotel’s negligence, they should be ashamed to leave off for such long time, they should be concerned about the security of their their guest. To finish this sad story I was able without any money to make down to Los Angeles where some friends help me out with some cash. After this terrible experience, I WON’T RECOMMEND TO ANYONE TO STAY AT...
