Town House Motel — Hotel in San Francisco

Hear me out with this review. The location is 100% what you're paying for here. The room condition was not good at all. The room had an oddly weird smell and I couldn't tell if i was having an asthma attack or a panic attack after walking in. There was a hole cut in the carpet, hair in the bed and in the shower. The bed was literally falling apart. There was no fitted sheet on the bed just a thin sheet tucked under it. The bed was just not comfortable felt like you were sleeping on a box spring vs mattress and had this odd dip/hole in the middle. 🥲 The shower floor was cracked and there was clear mold in the corners. The AC/Heat was obnoxiously loud, and that says a lot because I love the sound of fans/AC units when I fall asleep. HOWEVER, they did have free parking, the location was 4/5 for walking and they provided soap & shampoo/conditioner, which I've come to realize was not an essential for all hotels. Lol Would I stay here again... absolutely NOT but if you're looking for some place to store your bags with free parking... maybe search nearby locations first and pay the extra $$. 😅 If you're the kind of person that cares nothing about room comfortability and cleanliness then this might be the place for you. 👍🏽 After booking i heard stories about bedbugs, luckily we didn't have any in our room. I’m traveling across country and was grateful to this place because the motel 6 on fisherman was very rude and wouldn’t help me with the method of payment. However I was stereotyped by the gentlemen at the front desk yes he was nice yes I am grateful to have somewhere to sleep but to basically be stereotyped because I am brown telling me please remember u have neighbors so don’t play loud music and I know you guys smoke but don’t smoke in the room crazy part is I don’t smoke and we don’t have any devices to play music with nor do we want to we just want a nights rest he stared at me with chastisement the whole time I was in the office. Then as he reminds me to be quiet my neighbors to the left have been banging on the walls and doors being loud the entire hour I’ve been here. We will be leaving and never returning as I don’t like the stereotypes and then to find out we aren’t even the problem smh. I wish people wouldn’t do that because it’s not fair and now we are uncomfortable in our room scared to make any noises at all. But everyone else here has been loud as ever and nothing is being done. As I was taking myself and my wife to the final Dead & Company Show I booked my room here 6 months in advance. I informed them that we would be accompanied by my small service dog. They informed me that as long as I had documentation to show that he is indeed a service animal, there would be no problem. Fast forward to three days ago. Called to confirm and no problems, service dog okay with documents.

Today, when we show up to check in, we are informed that they DO NOT allow animals, which is a direct violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. They were using the old bait and switch method of doing business.

Thank God for the Tenderloin Motel 6 for stepping up to the plate. We got the same size room (2 queen beds), FOR LESS!!!

You are running a very shoddy business and I suggest that you learn the laws as they pertain to not only business, but about human AND civil rights that some of us have been fighting for for centuries and some of us still are!
