I called the San Carlos, California location and spoke with one of the employees about liquidating large amount of inventory from one of our e-commerce music Merch projects. After speaking to one of the employees for about 30 minutes he indicated that they would be interested, but I would need to speak with the manager. After speaking another 30 minutes with the manager and having to re-explain everything, she indicated that I would need to speak with corporate headquarters based in Berkeley California. She proceeded to take down my contact information, phone, email, and stated she would send me information on who to contact in Berkeley. I checked my email and there was nothing from her. Called back on Sunday and I had to re-explain everything to another employee. She then puts me on hold again, and after five minutes, she stated that I have to call back on Tuesday to speak to another manager. I told her that I was not happy about all my time being wasted, and she proceeded to tell me that's just the way it is and I'm just an employee. Every time I would try to say something she would cut me off by stating I'm just an employee, I'm just an employee, I'm just an employee. Stay away from this company and don't ever do...
Read moreThis place used to be great but I must confess the last few times I've come have been very disappointing. You used to be able to get some really nice designer things at great prices but no more. Their selection in large and XL sizes are very slim, so if you're larger than a size 12, you probably don't need to waste your time coming here anymore.
NOTE: They now slap a 3% charge on top of their prices, with the rather hilarious explanation being that they're doing it in order to keep their prices down. Uh, if your customers are paying it, I would suggest your surcharge gambit is a failure LOL 😂.
They do have signs posted in the dressing rooms and also below eye level at the registers, along with many other signs, so if you don't try anything on or if you are like 90% of people who shop and don't read all the signs posted at the register before completing your purchase (shame on you), you might be surprised to see the extra charge on your receipt. It doesn't seem like very much, but when you add it to all the price increases due to this artificially induced inflation of everything (how is the cost of second-hand clothes going up?!?) it starts to...
Read moreDrove all the way here for nothing. Wasted my gas money. I took my clothes to sell and the store only bought one shirt for $4.99, which was an expensive floral shirt I got from JCPenney. As mentioned in other reviews, they are very strict about what clothes they take here. The staff are nice, but I did ask them them if they take super hero shirts and they said yes, but they did not take any. When I browsed the store, I realized all they take is floral shirts and this store sells nothing else except for some plaid button downs and they had some ugly graphic tees They sell these floral shirts to give the store a luxurious feeling although it's just donated clothes. The woman looking at my clothes did not look through all of them and she made excuses saying that, "All your clothes can be found at Target or Ross and we can't compete with their prices." My clothes are not entirely from those two places and in fact, this store buys your clothes from you cheap, then prices gouges it higher than Ross or Target. This store sells things that may not...
