I always want to give a raving review, bc I never know how had a day someone is having or is going through....but I will speak on the service and the atmosphere there. We had a huge party. I mean, there was about 20 or more of us. We asked if we can split checks, we came with a children's group and the parents of the children wanted to pay for themselves and they said it was alright.
We had 3 different peiʻo le waiting on about 8 tables. Thank you, it was busy and you tried your hardest! The kids ordered, and then the adults. It took about 20 mind for our drinks to come, I can't be too mad, there's a lot of us.
The kids ordered and ordered an appetizer and their dinners and so did the adults at the other tables...I was waiting for the appetizers to come out. After about half an hour the adults start getting their food. We asked for a refill of sodas and apple juice while we wait and that didn't happen right away.
Our food comes out as the adults are finishing theirs along with our appetizer. -_-. And our drink refills.
And then despite splitting orders, we had issues and it took almost another half hour to split our checks correctly. A for effort, but it wasn't ready to accommodate big groups like ours...
Read moreThe hostess that took our name before waiting to be seated at a table was rude, demanding and impolitely ordered my wife, child & myself around when it came time for us to be seated, like we were inconveniencing her, at which point made the 3 of us cram into a 2 single seats booth along the counter with a chair for me to sit in the aisle facing the side of the very tiny table and forgot to tell any server that we've been seated. We sat there for an additional 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged our presence. Finally, a server came to our table without any training on the menu to answer a couple of simple questions. He had to walk away from our little itty-bitty table while taking our order twice to ask other co-workers what kind of toast was available that day, so I just saved him the trouble by ordering the sausage biscuits & country gravy. When it arrived, they served me cold gravy poured on top of halved dinner rolls- not even biscuits! And to top it all off, I got charged for an orange juice on my bill that was never mentioned or ordered. There certainly was not one brought to our table. I would say that they have A LOT of room for...
Read moreMy wife and I came to IHOP on a Sunday around 11:45 - 12 pm. It was full. There was a 5-minute wait.
I ordered a cheeseburger, and my wife ordered an omelet. My burger was nothing to rave about. It was super thin, tasteless, and looked like a skirt steak. The fries were okay.
My wife's omelet was another story. A large portion (she couldn't finish it) came with three huge pancakes and was very tasty. It seems like IHOP specializes in omelets and their Breakfast items than in burgers.
One thing I do enjoy when I come here is they provide you with your very own coffee pot so you may pour as many cups as you like without either waiting for a refill or having a waiter come to your table every 5 minutes asking if you would like more coffee!
My review is not saying that IHOP Is not a great place to eat; more like this time around, what I ordered was not the best option thus far!
I do recommend this place for anyone who Is looking for a tasteful experience in breakfast items at IHOP - not the traditional...
