Best experience ever... The PX is small, but it's away from the tourists. Nice small beach and tons of iguanas. Definitely would recommend the stop if you're on a cruise ship. We were walking around looking at all the older buildings and they let us tour the Sector Command building. We also got to meet the Command Master Chief and he gave us all stickers. Truly a great experience for the family. Something you don't typically get to do.

Learned, by chance, that (as of 15 September 2021) military veterans will NOT be permitted to shop at the Coast Guard's San Juan store. Veterans are being relegated to buying at a store in Caguas. It's hard enough for older veterans to get to San Juan to shop at Coast Guard facility. The new imposition will make it even more conversome and costly for Seniors. What where they thinking. Guess the will not miss the revenue...

FYI: all of the pictures don’t represent this current exchange. They shut down the big one which all of the pictures are from. It’s now a small trailers worth of items, extremely limited selections. More alcohol than anything.

24/7 Mini trailer next door to this one has very basic food items/sunscreen/drinks.

Just don’t go here expecting a full/proper exchange like the ones in Caguas...
