San Juan Scooter Rental's — Local services in San Juan

To be fair I have not rented scooters here but am giving 2 stars for my experience. The sign on the door says they open at 9:00 AM. I arrived at 8:20 AM but decited to wait until they opened because we had a few hours to kill in San Juan before we needed to head to our flight home. 9:00 AM rolled around and nobody was there, so I tried calling and left a message, nobody returned my call but I assumed maybe they run on island time and are just a little late; 9:20 and still nobody showed. I tried calling again but with no answer. I then looked them up on google and it shows they open at 10:00 AM so we continue to wait until 10:00 but nobody showed at 10:00 either.

There was another couple there waiting that was able to get through to them at this point and the lady said she planned on coming in later in the afternoon but told them she could be there in about 25 minutes (close to 11:00 AM at this point), however, all scooters were already rented out/reserved.

We decited not to stay and wait any longer and just walked around town but did notice the scooters pulled out front and available to rent... so not sure if that was just an excuse for not wanting to come in or what but it doesn't seem like they are very consistent or professional. I would definitely make plans prior if you want to use these guys so you don't waiste hours...

RUN AWAY. SAVE YOUR MONEY.

The bolt on the frame of the back tire came out while I was going 65mph. I almost crashed. I called them and told them what happened and because I was 12 miles away from the shop they said they would charge me to come get me. They tried to charge me over $500 as a punishment as well. I waited for 4 hours on the side of the highway for them to come get me.

I have rented dozens of scooters in over 15 countries and I have never had a company have this many issues. Their bike broke and almost killed me.

Then they offered me another bike. I asked just for a refund and they said no. So I took the other bike. I drove this bike away and when I went to start it again it wouldn't start. They came and rescued me again and still said I needed to keep the bike. It continued to have starting problems all day.

This place is over priced and their management did the opposite of what they should have done when their bike...

What an amazing experience!! We rented the scooter for a whole day and it was the best experience we had here in san juan. We got around so easily and went all over the place to explore! We had the scooter for 24 hours bc we had parking at our hotel so made sense to keep it. Finding parking was so easy everywhere we went bc we can squeeze into all the spots. They arent fast but was perfect for around here. Highly recommend an experienced rider not bc the bike is hard to ride but because people driving in cars and stuff it can get very dangerous and wouldnt want anyone getting hurt. The staff is extremely friendly! And the service was above and beyond. The prices are great as well. I will be coming back here next time I'm in PR! Highly...
