We just celebrated my sons 11th birthday at Bricks and Minifigs and this was so much fun! The boys ALL had a blast! There was so much excitement and activity to keep the kids busy the entire party. We rented the upstairs party room and it was THE BEST spot! We were away from the general public, it was private and the kids enjoyed some friendly competition building, racing and modifying derby lego cars together. Parents visited outside the party room on the private balcony (we could still see the kids and supervise, but let them play and have fun without being in their way - plus it was quieter on the other side of the glass windows so parents could visit together) The kids each hand selected and built custom minifigs in the same room. The party was private/safe and tons of fun!

As a parent, throwing a party for kids can be stressful and a lot of work...not this one!! I was a little worried that the kids might be too old, or some kids attending aren't really into legos...well, none of that even mattered. This was the first party the I could actually just enjoy and take pictures and watch my son play and have fun with his friends instead of having to work all the activities and tell the boys what to do. Shannon helped facilitate the entire party, transitioning from one activity to the next, everything was smooth and seamless. As a parent, it is so nice to know that the party location is already set up and decorated with streamers and balloons, every table had birthday tablecloths, they provided all the lego napkins, plastic utensils and lego paper plates. There was even a Happy Birthday banner on the wall with balloons we could take group pictures in front of...I didn't have to set up anything, I didn't have to decorate, I didn't have to clean up...they even provided a bluetooth speaker so we could play our favorite music during the party!

Shannon is an absolute angel! She was super easy to communicate with from beginning to end, so helpful answering questions and during the party, she would just pop in when it was time to transition to the next activity, tell the kids (really quick) the rules and then she'd disappear and come back when it was time for the next activity. Thank you, Shannon! You really know how to run a party and keep everything on schedule while allowing the kids to play and have fun! The staff downstairs are always helpful and friendly. I definitely recommend booking your next party with Bricks and Minifigs!

This is the easiest party for parents and the most fun birthday...

I recently hosted my son’s 8th birthday party at Bricks and Minifigs SLO. It was so convenient! Shannon, the owner, was super responsive, professional, informative, and prepared the day of. It was easy to book over the phone and as the date approached, Shannon was good about following up for reminders and confirmations. The day of the party, the room was already decorated and so was the surrounding area just outside the big party room. Shannon was amazing with the kids and kept the party moving and on track. The staff at the store, the day of, was also very accommodating and helpful if any other needs arose during the party (which there were every few). We had some last minute guest additions, that had never RSVP’d, and Shannon was flexible, understanding, and quickly adjusted the party to allow the other kids to join. The best part of the party, for me, is that Shannon provides the clean up once the party is done!!!! As a busy mom, this was an amazing perk! She had the room already decorated AND did the clean up! All I had to do was bring the food and the cake! Incredibly convenient!!!! My son and his friends had a blast and many of the other parents commented how the party was great because it was interactive and kept the kids busy the whole time they were there. Plus, each kid built and took home a Minifig, so it could double as a party favor and something that each kid customized to their own personality. It was interesting to see how different each Minifig was. Overall, I would recommend this location for birthday parties in the future! It’s easy for the parents and absolutely fun for the kids! I recently hosted my son's birthday party at Bricks and Minifigs, and it was absolutely fantastic! Working with Shannon, the owner, was a delight. She was incredibly accommodating and kind throughout the planning process. The highlight was the fantastic race track where the kids built derby-like Lego cars and raced them – a big hit! All the children got to create custom Minifigs to take home, adding a personal touch to the celebration.

The attention to detail in providing a comfortable room with tasteful decorations, tables, chairs, and tablecloths was impressive. The birthday boy even received a special gift from the owners, and the 10% discount on purchases that day was a nice touch.

Overall, this birthday party was truly one for the books. The owners' kindness and their excellent handling of events make Bricks and Minifigs highly recommendable. It's a place where creativity, fun, and great service come...
