CENTRAL COAST SURFBOARDS is one of the very best shop’s in SLO with a great local history.

I stopped in last night to look for a few last minute Christmas gifts.

CCS is all about the surfing life style. They look forward to sharing it with all who walk through the door. Surfboard, Wet suits, SUP and Skateboards, or just to acquire a pearl of local surf knowledge. Yes, that’s all there and more, there’s all the latest Surf clothing, shoes and apparel. CCS is ready to outfit any Surfer.

So if you have not heard. CCS has a new owner Scott Smith and his family are the new. Proprietors at Central Coast Surfbards as of August ‘17.

I’m excited to see that CCS is in the good hands Scott with his years of business experience in SLO. Scott is one of the former owner in another of SLO iconic business - Art’s Cyclery. While he will be missed at the Shop by many of SLO’s hardcore riders.

Scott is helping his SLO customers to experience all what outdoor has to offer. With Scott knowledge of surfing on the Central Coast and maybe even some advice for the adventurous cyclist looking for a change and may stop in at CCS.

Exceptional, top notch customer service! We are SO lucky here on the Central Coast having a shop like CCS pumping life into the surf community. Had a super great experience with Taj shopping for a wetsuit. He just struck that perfect balance between being attentive and answering all of my questions, while also giving me plenty of space to do my own thinking while considering between several different wetsuits. Feeling supported, yet un-rushed while making a decision was just completely top-notch! Even beyond today, have had such awesome experiences with Scott, Drew, Chloe just to name a few - skateboards, surfboards, wetsuits, etc... These guys are a well of experience and information and you can easily count on them to help keep the stoke alive! Thank you guys at CCS! Ya'll run...

We walked in and were absolutely mobbed with helpful, positive energy. All three of the salespeople near the front door greeted us and the obvious ring leader asked if we needed any help.

I ended up buying a board that I did not know I was looking for until I was shown it in the racks. My wife was not able to find the wetsuit she wanted, but said later that she really wanted to buy a wetsuit from the salespeople that greeted us so...
