This is going to be long - if you don't want the details the summary is that you should never order pickup at this store cause they will choose the things that are opened or pre-used to give you. I bought a very expensive set of headphones that were a little bit of a stretch for me through the app because they were on sale. I had a little bit of Rewards to use on them so I did and chose drive up. When I got them they were not shrink wrapped and appeared to have been opened... since the app wanted me to sign for it I looked inside the packaging to make sure everything was there and the headphones were covered with some sort of dried sticky substance and were obviously used. I did not pay that much for headphones to get sticky used ones but the drive up girl told me I would have to talk to the person inside. Inside they told me that they did not know what happened and that it was not their fault and that all they could do for me was process it as a return since they do not do exchanges. They were not on sale in store... at first he was telling me that they could not price match, then went back on that and said they could. But I still ended up paying more because the rewards are just lost now... he said they might show back up in the app in 3 days but probably not. The rewards were not much but that is not the point. The point is that I had to pay more, and was made to feel like I was the problem, because I would not just be happy with the used sticky headphones that store chose to give me... that it was not their fault they gave me open ones... I have had this happen before at this store, where they tried to give me items that were obviously used and open. I am done with Target, but I am just one person that they obviously couldn't care less about, but they probably won't care what you get either so don't get anything through drive up that you would care about having been opened and used before. We didn't save the receipt for a car seat that we had bought with cash that we had gotten from a baby shower. That was our mistake. I completely understand why they wouldn't return the car seat. Lesson learned. What we are upset about is they sold us a car seat that had been opened (from the bottom of the box so we didn't notice it) and it was missing stuff. The car seat didn't have any warranty/recall information, no instructions on how to install it and the seat had obviously been used. There was baby spit up all over the car seat. I would have been totally fine using the car seat from an open box if everything it was supposed to come with was in the box and if the seat wouldn't have been used. I just don't get how the employees don't feel like they need to check a product as important as a car seat, but then again this location has been going down hill for years. Definitely won't ever shop at any Target again. I'm upset that they didn't care about my baby's safety. There was no way we can guarantee that it is safe if heaven forbid we were to get into a car accident. We ended up going to the Super Walmart just on the other side of the freeway. Much much better experience because we got all the warranty/recall information, and the instructions on how to install the car seat in the actual box that the car seat came in. Read moreI went to the Sandy UT location.Target has a best selection and style in maternity clothes. I picked out about 40 items- went to the fitting room and there wasn't anyone there. No signs asking to wait. No sign saying carts weren't allowed in rooms and because I had so many things I did take the cart into the room and because the rooms are so large I figured this was normal. I went out of my way to hang back up the clothes so it was easy for them to put things away. I needed different sizes for a few items and asked the girl if she could help me find them. She instantly barked at me to bring all items and cart out of the stall, okay no problem but I still needed help finding these items. I asked her and she just said nastly said they would be in the same place I got it from...okay -so I asked could you look on your machine to see if your store does have it in stocks? She said she didn't have one and I could wait for someone but said again they will all be in the maternity section... I don't work here, I know they would have better luck finding something than I would and they would not help. Her tone of voice was repelling. I understand it looks suspicious buying so many clothes, go ahead watch me, follow me, hell ask to check my purse if you want but I'm innocent till proven guilty -so help me find and buy!
