I’ve gone to this location several times with good experiences usually as a drive-through customer. I prefer using the app because of the rewards it automatically adds and the streamline service it provides when it comes to bypassing any potential lines especially in the morning when I need quick service. I typically use the app at the fort union location the most, and they have always provided excellent customer service, as well as efficiency and being quick. This location was closer me today so I used the app and selected to pickup my order inside to bypass any lines in the drive through. As soon as I arrived, my order was ready so I went inside to the designated pickup area. I was ignored by the only cashier upfront so she could prioritize customers in line placing an order. My food was 5 feet in front of me but just out of arms reach so I waited for her to finish with the first customer. However after the first customer was done she ignored me and took another customers order instead of passing me my order as I’m waiting in the pickup area. I understand that even though my entire wait time was around 5 minutes it does in fact defeat the purpose of using the app ahead of time so that it’s ready on arrival.
After the second customer was done and she was breaking down a large bill I finally spoke up and ask if she could pass me my pickup order in front of me. She ignored me, and redirected her colleague to serve me. Chick-fil-a typically provides excellent service so I was quite surprised at how poor & slow my service was this morning. Read moreI Love, Love, LOVE Chick-Fil-A!!! GREAT food, amazing sweet tea and it has a play place for the kids to let loose for a bit. I have loved all their restaurants, and this one is just among the rest. They do an amazing job of keeping up with rush hours and customers who aren't always right or polite. The staff is friendly and bubbly most of the time and my kids get a kick out of some of them. Like one day it was rush hours and this poor kid seemed stressed, he kept repeating my order as I was giving it to him. Mind you he is standing face to face with me and my kids, as we are ordering. Well he got a little tounge tied and seemed embarrassed until my little girl started laughing at him. Then, he started to relax and be a little silly, It was at that moment he was able to do everything perfectly and it was great. So, when the card thing was messing up he was all, silly like "oh no I cant even use a card machine." Which got him more giggles from my kids. IT made my day because not only did we get our order in perfectly but he entertained my three kids and had them laughing and giggling instead of fighting and screaming the whole time we were there in the drive thru. Read moreI was running late and needed to pick up a quick lunch for my dad. I happened to be driving by Chick-fil-A on State Street in Sandy, so I pulled in. I soon realized the drive-thru line was really long, even though it was after the noon rush, and I wondered whether I'd made a mistake, since I was in quite a hurry. Then I noticed that they had a whole team taking orders from people in their cars and both of the drive-thru lines were moving very quickly. The team member who took my order was really nice, and was able to answer all of my questions about the menu. Then I was waved forward immediately, paid for my order, and waived forward once again. I hardly had time to put my car into park before my food came through the window. My dad and I had a great lunch. The chicken strips were moist, tender, and perfectly spiced. This was my first visit to Chick-fil-A, but it definitely won't be my last. The food itself was excellent, but I'm even more impressed with the method they've developed to handle a large volume of business. Don't let the long drive-thru lines keep you from giving them a try.
