Customer service is key to any business, and this place definitely lacks in that department. I purchased a gift for a friend from this shop and a few weeks later, I went back to change it only because when I read the entire message written on the piece I found it inappropriate for the person it was intended for. I asked the lady behind the cashier to just allow me store credit (because it was past the 14-day mark) so that I can pick a similar item from the same brand but with a different message. My tone was very polite, however I was rewarded by a very heavy attitude, banging my receipt on the desk after seeing the date and telling me: "don't you understand it's a 14-day policy and even before 14-days I wouldn't have taken that back because it's a special item!"
Obviously she was not the owner, otherwise she would not have treated a customer like that. It is unfortunate, and I wanted to find the contact information for the owner of that store to let them know, but couldn't get very far, so I feel like this review will do a better job of informing everyone, including the...

I went to this store trying to find some small gift that I could redeem with Hallmark rewards that I got. The total came up under $5 and I was trying to pay by credit card. The short hair female staff just tapped on the plastic window with notes that no credit card for under $5 and said nothing. During the whole process I was being polite and my families made me aware how unprofessional that taff was.
Talk to the customer and be professional. It's unfortunate this happened in such a lovely store chain.
