Iām taking the time to write a solid 5-star review because of the incredible customer service I received! My husband and I had such a great experience shopping at Scandinavian Designs. If I could give more than 5-stars, I would!
Dave was super helpful during our time browsing the showroom. He was proactive, and answered all of our questions. When we made decisions, completing the transaction and arranging delivery was smooth and efficient.
A week and a half later, our furniture was delivered within the first 30 minutes of the 3-hour delivery window, and quickly assembled by friendly drivers. (Pay the extra bit to get your furniture assembled - it is so worth it!)
Unfortunately, our lamps we purchased had shattered during transit. The delivery driver was quick to inform me and called his team. I spoke with Dave again from the Sales Room to let him know the situation, not thinking it was possible weād be able to get a replacement because we purchased the last ones, which were from their showroom. Two hours later, I was informed they had lamps delivered to their store, and were available for me to pick up.
They even installed brand new light bulbs - as if they knew I was planning to go to another store afterwards to buy some!
I was very impressed by how swiftly Dave and the Scandinavian Designs team handled the situation, and made sure that we had our new furniture on the day that they had promised.

But the best part about my multiple shopping experiences there has come from the salesperson Peter, who has helped guide me through multiple shopping experiences over the past year and a half.
Peter is quite literally the best. Every Scandinavian Design shopping experience with Peter has been incredibly positive. He is kind, friendly, social, helpful, not at all pushy (as Iāve found that a fair amount of salespeople are) and has made each furniture shopping experience incredibly positive.
And if all of those positive traits arenāt enough, hereās a kicker⦠he contacted me the other day to let me know that I was eligible to get a fair amount of money refunded from a recent purchase because the furniture I just purchased went on sale within a particular post-purchase timeframe. By no means was this a ploy to make another sale, and there was quite literally no additional benefit in it for him. But you have to admit, itās fairly unheard of to learn that the person who helped sell you anything (anywhere) wants to help you get some money back ā especially when (Iām assuming) it would decrease the commission heād be earning.

I purchased a dining set and several sofas, paying in full upfront based on the assurance that the items were in stock and would be delivered within four weeks. Unfortunately, the company has not lived up to their promise.
For three months, there has been no proactive communication from their side. Each attempt to contact customer service has resulted in either being put on hold for long periods or having my calls disconnected without resolution. When finally speaking to someone, I was simply told to wait another two weeks for updates.
It's now evident that paying in full may have been a mistake, as I've learned they also offer the option to pay a deposit with balance due upon shipment. It seems that full upfront payment has resulted in a lack of urgency to fulfill the order.
This experience has been incredibly frustrating. I caution potential customers to consider this when deciding whether to pay in full or opt for a deposit. As of now, I am left with charges to my account but nothing to...
