If I could give zero stars I would. I switched from Verizon to AT&T back in June. I was trying to decide if I wanted to go galaxy or iPhone, as I was at the Morris location. I believe the person that waited on me’s name was Brooke. She said that if I wanted a Samsung I’d have to go to Walmart and bring it back to have it activated. I went to Walmart and the phones she was talking about were prepaid. I asked the Walmart employees about the ones that they had on display, and they said their phone guy could set me up. But since I already told her I’d come back, I said that’s okay and went back. She explained that she did have the iPhone 13 Pro Max in stock. So I decided to go with Apple. (I’ve had both before and I don’t really favor one or the other). I told her the plan I wanted because I had done my research, and she said that wasn’t a problem. I also explained I am a teacher and gave her the info for my discount. Well, here I am, 7 months later and still getting charged the wrong amount. I know I see phone people in Costco, sams club, Walmart, but I just figured going to the actual store would be easier. Initially I wanted the S21FE and why advertise it if you don’t have it in stock? And to add on top of that, she didn’t exactly have the nicest demeanor. Said some unprofessional things. Read moreThis store and its workers are amazing. Brooke and Hayley were great and very helpful. I don’t think I would have been able to set up my phone without Brooke. I had changed from Verizon to AT&T prepaid. I attempted to do the switch myself online since it was an online promotional. Come to find out it never happened because of a technical issue. I went to the store to get AT&T air for the internet. While I was there it was discovered my order for switching never went thru for my phone. I was in the phone with customer service because it being an online promotional that store couldn’t provide it for me or sign me up with it. Thank God I stayed in the store while on the call. After 45 minutes with a phone customer service agent and receiving a second confirmation number, supposedly my phone was switched. This is when Brooke approached me. After investigating she discovered that the phone customer service person did NOT set up my phone again with a E-sim that I was supposedly receiving via email. I never received any emails. Brooke was able to give me an actual SIM card, set up an account, yes give me the internet promotion because there was enough information already inputted via the phone customer service person, and walla I FINALLY had AT&T prepaid service. After 2 days and over an hour on the phone with customer service, Brooke was able to help me. I would definitely recommend them over and over again....
Read moreThis store is not corporate owned. Sean said if we added a line (which we expressed we didn't need at all) he said it'd be cheaper. He didn't disclose our bill would be double for our next bill. And we called customer service as Brooke instructed us to because they couldn't do anything for us in their store. But Sean could sure be misleading, lie and con us into things we didn't need. Acted as if he was doing us a favor. Our bill is in fact almost $100 more each month after adding this third line he talked us into. He knew we would not be using it. Sean told us it was the only way my husband could get an upgrade. Which isn't true. Corporate told us to go to a corporate owned store and they could take the phone and give us a $1,000 credit to go towards our upgrade. I feel this store should be more honest and if you aren't sure figure it out for the customer and let them know. I feel Sean was out only to get his commission and not looking out for our best interests. He also sold the same bullshit to a older gentleman. He could add a third line and save money. This is a lie. Beware. We were on the phone for over 2 hours with customer service yesterday and now we are going to the Joliet store to get the rest resolved today.
