The Quality Inn was so gross. (If you can spend the extra $100 and stay at the Holiday Inn.) As soon as we walked into our room my fiance scanned over the room, as we always do. We noticed stains on the blankets, sticky black stuff on the walls, and the bathroom supplies (lotion, shampoo, and conditioner) were used, like less than half full.
Since my mom and sister were coming to swim I figured I would talk to the staff once they left.
Well in the pool area the ceiling was completely falling down and not just in 1 spot but multiple spots throughout the entire area. There is a sign to rinse off in the shower area before getting in the pool. Well the nozzle for the water was completely ripped off, so shower did not work.
I had to run to the front desk to ask for pool towels and the staff said "there hasn't been anyone in the pool in a few days, there should be plenty." There were plenty of towels in the dirty hamper but only 1 clean towel. So that means no one has checked or done laundry from the pool area in a few days. (Luckily, my mom had brought multiple towels.) After, my family left we decided to go back into the room to snap some pictures of the stains and the bath essentials, to show staff. My fiance noticed a few little ants and as we were walking out the door he noticed the wall was covered in the ants. It was so gross. I took a few pictures and headed to the front desk. At this point we decided to leave the hotel and pay double for a room next door at the Holiday Inn. Boy do I wish we had done that in the first place. I know the saying you get what you pay for. But honestly people should be doing their jobs at all times. The room was $90 before taxes so its not like I was staying at a hotel by the hour or $45 a night kind of thing. I would like to say there was no argument from the staff, he was very polite, and he said there would be no charge at all. I am a very big believer in its ok to make mistakes what's important is how you fix them and what you learn. Holiday Inn gave us a discounted rate (which I was so grateful for). The hotel had recently been fully renovated and looked great. Even more important no bugs, stains, or any other issues. So if you want a room full of bugs go to Quality Inn, if you want a room that is comfy and bug free head to...

Firstly, i was overcharged for my room by nearly 30 dollars (didnt even notice this until the next situation)
Im currently on vacation and this hotel was convenient for me and my boyfriend to stay at since it was on the way to where we were going. Today (August 1st) i was charged another 104 dollars, when i noticed this i called the hotel to ask questions as to why i was charged again two days after my checkout date. when i called the issue was resolved (or so i thought) by a NOT so friendly employee, after the phone call i checked my bank account where i was charges AGAIN immediately after the phone call for another 104 dollars. i immediately called again to talk to this not so nice employee whos name started with a B (barb/barbara again im not sure) once the phone was answered and i explained again how i was charged ANOTHER 104 dollars (again im on vacation and lost 210 dollars before i could even arrive to my destination… VERY inconvenient) the not so nice employee began to become a very RUDE employee and blamed me for the problem!! she began scolding me like i was a highschool student in economics as she was trying to explain to me how banking works, when i explained to her that i was wrongfully charged multiple times she emailed me my hotel bill (neither of the 104 dollars charges were included in that bill) and began yelling at me telling me that this wasnt the hotels problem and it was MY problem and later hung up on me. EXTREMELY unprofessional.
also to mention, employees came knocking on our door THREE times. once while we were sleeping and another while i was in the shower, and the last time they knocked i answered and it was two employees rudely asking us when were checking out and said “well get ready fast and check out quick” once i told her we were getting ready to check out, and no, we were not at all late for our checkout time.
anyways im not usually one to write bad reviews but this genuinely made me very upset and stressed to the max. major shoutout to the general manager who is refunding me all the totals i was wrongfully charged for and taking huge accountability for his employees actions, maybe a help wanted sign would be helpful to get rid of the MANY rude...
Read moreI have previously stayed at other Quality Inn locations and and never had any issues my husband and I decided to stay here this past Monday and Tuesday evenings to get away from the heat as our AC wasn't keeping up with the high temps. We arrived and no one was at the desk I rang the bell and an older lady came to the desk I informed her I had a reservation and she completely ignored me as she was talking on her cell phone I waited patiently until another attendant came to the desk a younger gentleman he checked me in told me it would be 50 dollars to have my dogs I said no issue at all her then proceeded to charge me 60 dollars ( I didn't notice until we checked out ) We got to our room, room was decent but blankets had burn holes and stains all over them. I ignored this and continued our evening. I decided to take a visit to the pool there were no signs to direct you to where the pool was located I had to go back to the front desk to ask where to go I entered the pool area to find it completely empty and smelled quite odd almost as if I was at the river as soon as I stepped into the pool at the main entrance stairs I slipped and fell down the stairs due to the pool having an awful amount of slime/algae on the bottom of the pool luckily I caught myself on the railing before I smacked my head. I still attempted to enjoy a few moments in the pool as I floated down to the end I noticed the ceiling and windows in the back of the pool area appeared to be covered in mold and the walls around the shower area to be falling apart due to rot. I spent no one than 10 minutes in the pool area and headed directly back to my room. Here I am 4 days later barley able to walk and my ankle the size of a grapefruit. Even the housekeepers make you feel uncomfortable they sit on the floor at the end of the hall way each morning watching you. They will come and knock on your door for no reason at 7-8 am and check outs not until 11 am we weren't even checking out after the first night and they still attempted to give us a wake up call knock to check out apparently. If I could give anyone advise AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COST !!!!!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE...
