I am part of a large group that has rooms here at the park motel we called last month to check on rates and talk to the new manager about some of the reviews we had read . Myself and my crew foremen talked to Johanna the new manager who told us she was in charge of everything from the yard care to room care after talking with her she told me that the rooms were clean and that the sheets and towels were fresh. At the rate she quoted us she had us all hooked i told her if we arrived and found the rooms not clean that we would leave . After our check in we found that the rooms were just painted and the manager also cleans the room with her staff to make sure everything is neat and ready for workers when they come in from work at the power plants . Overall i would say that under the new manager things look good at the park hotel . The company plans on booking us here for the summer work at the power plant and we like the fact that Walmart and other fast food joints as well as the Morris dinner are right across the road . disregard the bad review call up the park motel talk to Johanna and see for yourself . Excellent hotel for travelers as well...
Read moreI'm on a trip from Maryland to Utah and was looking for a place to stay the night after the first of three legs. I honestly don't think I could have found a better place. The rooms are neat and clean, with comcast TV, fridge, microwave, and wifi. The manager has got to be one of the nicest and helpful people around and the motel is located in the middle of it all, nearly all major fast food chains are within walking distance as well as a walmart right down the street for anything else you might need. What really sealed the deal for me though was the price. A room for myself for one night cost $46 with all the tax included, as opposed to the other neighboring hotel chains (Holiday Inn, Comfort Inn, etc.) which were asking upwards of $89. Another enjoyable aspect is that in the event you accidentally leave something in the room after checking out and driving off, the motel will automatically mail said item to the address that you provide on the quarter page length...
Read moreThe current management is very nice. Several of the rooms have some cigarette smell to them. The ones that do not are nice. The rooms are noticably out of style but I would rather save some $ than worry about luxury rooms. The A.C. and fridge work and the shower is hot. This is not a fancy place to stay at. The price is affordable for weekly/extended term stay. If you can afford it and are staying long term I would suggest getting a "family room" the fride in these rooms are 3 times the size of the normal rooms. No alarm clocks in units. My biggest concern is no fire alarms/co2 detectors in any of the units I've been in. I also hate not having grounded sockets in the rooms. Some rooms have them while others will only have one for the A.C. unit. I ended up going across the street to buy a 6 socket adapter and breaking off the ground port to plug in my tablet and...
