NORTH SHORE LIQUORS — Local services in Saugus

I just moved nearby and had frequented the store with no issues. I went yesterday and because of the snow was dressed down. I was racially profiled while I was deciding what wine I wanted to purchase. One of the clerks just stood there staring at me.

When I brought it up to the person directly and looked him in the eye he said that he was here to help me... he didn't offer any help nor did I need it and I proceeded to put down the two rather pricey bottles of wine I was just about to purchase.

I brought it up to someone at the checkout counter, how I felt about the experience, and was swapped out with a different checkout person. Considering the amount of money I've already spent there very disappointed

Clerk was helpful and cheerful... So nice when people smile at there job.... We all know work is work but some people just know that a smile goes along way. If you have to work ,why not make it the best it can be. Some places don't!!!! Not here friendly, smiling, helpful and actually made sure I wasn't buying a product that was higher priced than an other... But of course, We all know if your going to have a drink always drink the best..... Also large selection...

Giving this place a 1 star due to bad customer service from either the owner or manager upfront at the register. I went there 3 times, each and every time he was rude. You want business be nice and polite. I live 1 block away from this store. I would rather drive to Kappy or Guys Liquor has best selections and prices and most importantly customer...
