Free People — Local services in Scottsdale

Went in to return a pair of Agolde Riley shorts. I purchased these shots 3 weeks ago. I paid 138.00 for these shorts. The shorts ripped. Normal wear , followed care instructions. I processed to follow the directions on the free people website to return the product in store. When I tried to return the cashier was super rude to me and rudley snapped at me that next time I need to call customer service cause she will have to damage the shorts out since they ripped and that would cost their store money. I held my tongue and walked out after she issued my return. Listen. It cost me money to take an hour out of my work day to return YOUR product . YOUR product I paid 140 dollars for and ripped with in 3 weeks . I don't appreciate my time being wasted and then being chastised by a chashier after following the directions clearly outlined on the corporate website to issue a return. The customer service here was AMAZING! For myself and my daughter, they were incredibly helpful and spent time to find out my daughter's interests. As we know it can take a long time in the dressing room (what are they doing in there?!), each rep was available to provide additional styles and alternative pieces if needed. We will absolutely be returning in the future. Shopping in store also did not have the same product line as online which leaves me to believe that there may be more options to be explored in stores, even if the inventory may seem smaller. I love Free People but I love this brick and mortar free people the very best! I come in with my little girls and they treat us so wonderful! Never make me feel bad for bringing my kids and actually take the time to talk with them;) The ladies working here are always beyond helpful and even go out of their way to help me find things!
