For everyone who has seen the recent social media horror stories about luxury brands that refuse to fix issues (looking at you, influencer famous $5K bracelet that tarnishes) and wondered if customer service is dead, please READ THIS REVIEW. This is an honest review of my recent trip to Pandora in Scottsdale Quarter and a reminder that some retailers really DO care about your experience with their brand. Joshua, the store manager, assisted my sweet teenager with an issue concerning a special Christmas gift purchased at Pandora by her boyfriend. I had prepared her for the worst after watching other jewelry brands treat their customers with contempt on social media. But Joshua went out of his way to connect with her, listen to what happened, review her issues, and shockingly offer her a solution that exceeded our expectations! It was an excellent example in brand building and reputation management that everyone should follow but no one seems to care anymore. I have not shopped at Pandora before this experience but I plan to spend my money here for future gifts (graduation, birthdays, Christmas, etc.). Read moreVery disappointing experience at Pandora in Scottsdale Quarter, Arizona. I bought a ring on Sunday and couldn’t return it during the week because of work. When I finally went back (less than a week later), the associate initially told me I could return it and even suggested I could exchange it if I wanted something else. While I was looking at the store, the associate and the ring disappeared for about five minutes. When she returned, she said the ring could not be returned or exchanged. She even brought a microscope to point out a tiny, almost invisible mark, claiming I had “used” it — even though I never wore it. I’m not even sure it was the same ring they had taken to the back.
