Spa Miralina — Local services in Paradise Valley

I did not have a great experience here and recommend you look elsewhere. We were guests at Scottsdale Plaza and I booked myself and two friends for treatments during our stay.

I called and I was told told that only two of us could do the "Best of Both World's"package which included a massage and facial at the same time and the other person would have to do the "Girlfriend Getaway package which included a facial or massage and mani/pedi, due to not having enough staff.

When we arrived two of us had our massage done at the same time while our other friend had her facial done. Once the service was completed, we lounged in the waiting area for a bit and two of us had to wait another hour before our next service would start, which was not what I was told on the phone. I was told only one person would have to wait. This was very annoying because we were not expecting it.

The Service: While I found my massage enjoyable the facial was the worst I've ever had. It was less than the time allotted by almost 10 minutes. There were minimal extractions and the facial employee wasn't very welcoming.

Also, the 20% gratuity is added on top of the $219 package automatically and then I was asked if I wanted to add more. Seriously NO ! They did not make it easy to make any changes to your gratuity at all. I found this very shady as the experience was not a good one.

Set a reservation for a couple’s massage approximately two weeks in advance only to have the receptionist call and cancel on us thirty minutes before our planned arrival time while driving there. We had traveled from out of state and structured our weekend plans around the slim availability of the couple’s massage at this business. Regarding the last minute cancellation, there was no manager present or available to try to work something out and find a solution. The receptionist was overwhelmed at the circumstances and unsupported in trying to seek alternatives for rescheduling for later or even the following day. No manager followed up or contacted me to try to attempt to salvage the situation. I think it speaks volumes about the ownership and leadership of this business that the receptionist was made to deal with the situation and that there was no follow up. If I were to cancel thirty minutes beforehand, I’d be charged based upon their stated cancellation policy, however there was no attempt at accommodation when they pulled this on me. Terrible and...

I visited my old stomping grounds in December after moving away to Florida. My daughter treated me to an amazing deep tissue massage by Sid with an extra CBD infusion. It was long overdue for this weary traveler. Being able to hit the dry sauna and the huge jacuzzi poolside was the icing on the cake. I highly recommend the quiet spa setting and Sid's massage capabilities, hands down! Incredible management and staff. Wish I could have done more services, but...
