I recently had the privilege of attending a Reiki two day training session, and it was nothing short of trans-formative. From the moment I walked into the serene training space, I knew I was in for a special experience. The ambiance was calming, with soft lighting, soothing music, and an overall atmosphere of peace that immediately put me at ease.

The instructor, Rod Lyman, was a true master of Reiki. His deep knowledge and passion for this healing art was evident from the start. He created a warm, welcoming environment where everyone felt comfortable, regardless of their prior experience with Reiki. The session began with an insightful introduction to the history and principles of Reiki, which laid a solid foundation for the hands-on practice that followed.

One of the highlights of the training was the instructor’s ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, relatable manner. He emphasized the importance of intention and connection, guiding us through the process of channeling energy in a way that felt both natural and profound. The hands-on practice was incredibly empowering. Under the instructor’s gentle guidance, I could feel the flow of energy between my hands and the person I was working with—a truly magical experience.

The group was small, allowing for personalized attention, and Rod Lyman was always available to answer questions and offer encouragement.

He encouraged us to trust our intuition and provided us with the tools and confidence to continue practicing Reiki on our own. By the end of the two day training, I felt a deep sense of connection—not only to the energy we were working with but also to my fellow participants and the instructor.

Overall, this Reiki training session was an enriching and uplifting experience. Whether you’re new to Reiki or looking to deepen your practice, I highly recommend this training. I just attended a Usui Master class with Rod and all I have to say is that I am more than disappointed. I am surprised there are so many positive reviews here.

I am aware that my review will be deleted but at least, even for a short time, I will take the opportunity to speak my mind.

I have some goals that are very important for me and I needed Reiki Master instruction as part of my curriculum. Yes, I now have a paper that says Reiki Master but it is not worth anything because I have no more knowledge than before :( The symbol I was “attuned” to is NOT the Usui master symbol I am required for the rest of my studies. Not only I have lost $150 but (the worst for me) also months of my time waiting for the class.

The class was very unprofessional with permanent giggling and private jokes between students encouraged by Rod. I like having fun like everyone else but I came here to learn. This was supposed to be a place of peace, and instead this was a zoo.

My only option is to redo this class with someone else. This is a bummer but I will move one. The sad thing is that all the other people attending this class are now calling themselves “reiki master” and most intend to teach.

While Rod is a nice person, this was a terrible experience not in line with what was announced in an email sent before the class starts.
