I don't like to complain but I won't be coming back here again.
Barista straight up ignored customers as we're waiting to be helped. It's not a big deal, but just let us know you see us.
Never asked about the WiFi the few times I had been there but decided I wanted to stay for a bit and get some food. After asking I got a "yeah, yeah, yeah" and handed a piece of paper. Got onto the WiFi just fine. Just didn't appreciate the tone. We all have our days I guess.
I ordered something on the happy hour menu as I thought it would be nice to try something new. I got charged full price. The drink was good so I didn't bother bring it up. Maybe they just forgot or I was mistaken.
My food took awhile to get brought to me. Luckily still warm after finding it's way but it was not good. It was tasteless and the bread was toasted to the point of being uncomfortable to eat and extremely messy.
Who ever did the sound in this place should probably redo it. The music was so loud it gave me a headache and I could hear it through my earbuds. The bass is so over powering and it sounds like the speakers are busted as a result. Saw customers running outside to answer calls because it was so loud.
I didn't feel great after the panini I ate today. I don't generally have issues with sandwiches but the panini I had gave me really bad acid reflux. It seemly had stuff I generally eat just not seasoned at all.
The last few times I had been here I didn't have any issues, service was fast and courteous. I believe I've given this place 5 stars in the past but today I felt unwelcomed and I won't be returning. The only thing that was good, was my coffee but I'd rather get...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust walked out of this establishment (8/4/2022) completely disappointed with how I was treated by Abbey. I was in town on business and entered Sip with hopes to have a good cup of coffee and breakfast. I came a few minutes ahead of my group of 5 so that I could check out the menu and secure a spot for us. I walked in took a look at the menu. Walked up to the register where Abbey glanced at me a couple of times but never greated me. Never said how can i help you? Never even said I'll be with you in a moment. After about 4-5 minutes of standing directly in front of the register a man walked up and stood next to me when Abbey immediately stopped whatever she was doing, walked up to the register and asked the man (who I assume was a regular) will you be having tea today? She completely looked passed me. I waved my hand in the air and said hello, excuse me I've been standing here. She replied with a nod of her head and continued entering the gentleman's order into the register. She didn't even attempt to apologize. To this I turned around and walked out. I Called my work group and had our location switched to JO JO's COFFEE HOUSE which is just a few short feet away where we were greeted and had amazing customer service.. not to mention the coffee flights and breakfast were amazing. This is where we will meet up over the next couple of days while we're here. I'd say to stay away from Sip if Abbey is behind the bar and you're not a regular. Sorry...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy absolute favorite spot in Phoenix! I've been frequenting this place for a little over a year now, and it has become an essential part of my work routine. Honestly, my career wouldn't be the same without the things I managed to get done at this place.
So, what sets it apart and makes it truly remarkable? Well, first and foremost, it's the staff, who deserve a special mention for their diversity. Every time I walk in, they greet me with a warm welcome, maintaining a high level of attentiveness and professionalism. I must give a special shout out to Kacey, who impressively brings my drink to the table even before I've placed my order (yes, I always go for the same thing).
Furthermore, I've noticed that this place attracts other like-minded individuals, particularly young professionals who, like me, utilize this space for work or even for holding meetings. Although I'm not particularly social and don't actively seek out connections, it's apparent that this place fosters an environment where entrepreneurial minds can easily connect and network.
The food and drinks? Absolutely fantastic. But you know what? They're only as good as the people who serve them and the environment they're enjoyed in. And that's where this place truly shines. The overall vibe, the amazing staff, and the diverse crowd that gathers here are what keep me coming back time...
