For amazing property management look anywhere else. I like to think of this office as an economic black hole. Just read this story about who they hire {Coast heating}This is the worst work I have ever seen in my life. I spent 6 years in the Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Trades as an industrial installer. Our Heater broke 12-27-17 in our rental of 16 years, they arrivered to replace or redesign the entire install with new venting location and everything sight unseen 1-11-18, A day Late! This company Installed appliance disregarding all manufacturer instructions and common sense rules. Leaving us with an unapproved leathal unusable unit with exposed abandoned electrical and no way to access the emergency shut off valve! Our installer stated to my 90 year oldgrandmother that he had been an "apprentice" or more likely on the job, for 6 months! Upon calling & complaining to the owner of the company because his work failed was by the city inspector initially! He refused to aknowldege there was a problem and told me if I did not like it to not use it. The inspection was failed 2-5-18. Because the rental agency the installers nor the BBB could do anything until it had been inspected. So I had to contact a very confused inspector and explain nobody anywhere is doing their job or apparently know what it even entails. I have never been so disrespected by a business owner. 0(ZERO) COSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. I have serious doubts about this phony 5 star rating given by what appears to be paid adverts or employees. even though I had am well versed in my code books and even provided one for the installers the second time they came back to reattempt passing the inspection that they had no permit for. As well as the building inspector, who ignored the codes for some unknown reason that I have yet to understand. To this very cold September 2018 day the unit remains; without the required fan unit, incomplete removal of old venting system, an obstucted outlet, 300° hot steel 4 feet off the ground on a public side walk, the most terrifiying part of all this injecting carbon monoxide right inside the building. The building codes are international they can be found in the current edition of the IFGC or international fuel gas code. But the first step is always reading the instructions taking measurement and reinstalling approved equipment in a designed build as it was specified. At $645 for a base unit plus the $65 fan unit I figure they took the rental agency for at least $1300 just in parts. A replacement install would take 2hrs if everything went wrong. I have counted 2 men on hours for a solid 2 days totalling close to $2000. For what should have taken 2 man hours tops $80. seeing how that is the approximate cost of the correct unit and they have done this scam in 2 units here now. Very invasive in a studio apartment. Professionals are Never hacking it in and bribing or brushing folk...
Read moreThe house at 1615 N Promenade was in a great location but very strange. Filled to the brim with knick-knacks and old housewares, it seems like a hoarder lives there. The kitchen was totally disorganized, with literally a hundred drawers filled with junk. There was no order and it took longer to find specific cooking instruments than to actually make a meal. When we used the hot tub it was constantly a chore to find where towels were hidden. The master bathroom shower was out of order, Wi-Fi did not work. It would have been nice to know these things in advance. We felt deceived learning about the shortcomings of this expensive rental only after we had arrived and paid for it. I've stayed in much nicer rental homes for a lot less money. When I reached out to the staff at Beachhouse Vacation Rentals to let them know that the Wi-Fi didn't work, the management did not honor us as customers by offering a partial refund. In my world, when serving customers, the best response is "We are very sorry for the inconvenience--Let us make...
Read moreMy family of 6 adults rented The Lodge in Seaside from Beachhouse Vacation Rentals. 100% recommend! Before arriving, staff was polite, timely and responsive to questions. We had just one snafu with a coffee pot during our stay, and staff was quick to respond with a replacement within a couple hours. The property was as listed, with a few extras in the kitchen. The extra fridge was great for all our drinks. 😀 The house is even more spacious than photos indicate, and we loved having room for everyone to spread out: 2 dining areas, 2 tv rooms, large living room, parlor, plus 6 bedrooms, back deck and front porch. We enjoyed exploring all the nooks and crannies in this impeccably built and clean yet quirky (took us a while to find the second full bathroom) place, as well as the custom stained glass throughout. Couldn’t have been closer to the beach and everything in town was in walking distance. We dubbed the house ‘The Schicktorium’ for our stay, and we couldn’t have found a better...
