I've been going to Sarah Mac for about 5 years and she is the BEST stylist to have ever touched my hair. I've followed her through a move to a salon, and when I move out of state in a few months, I'll be saving my trips to the salon for when I'm back home in Seattle and can go to Sarah.

Sarah is amazing at giving my hair a natural, yet vibrant copper. It's challenging to find a colorist that's this talented at coppers. And she nails the haircut every time. She worked with me over the course of a year leading up to my wedding to ensure we had the perfect color and cut for my wedding and it was PERFECT. She spent extra time to research clip in extensions and advised me which extensions to buy, and then she colored them to match my hair perfectly. The girl who styled my hair on my wedding day said it was the best coloring and color match she'd ever seen on hair extensions. I got so many compliments on my hair during my wedding week and on my wedding day.

I LOVE that Sarah charges an hourly flat rate instead of by the service, and she has built in her gratuity which leaves the guesswork out of what to expect for any costs. She has always been very upfront and confirms her estimated time and cost before getting started, and when I first started going to her she discussed the longterm maintenance of my desired look and what I could anticipate for costs moving forward.

She is very knolwedagble and shares lots of great advice - she doesn't push my to buy products from her, and she actually advised me to purchase a product elsewhere because it was best for my hair. That's how I know if she were suggesting I buy a product from her that it's genuine advice.

Finally - Sarah is great to talk to. She doesn't force me to chat if I'm not feeling chatty, but when I am, she is great to talk to and to get to know - it never feels like forced small talk.

I was looking for a colorist who could help me come back from a year of coloring my hair at home. I called Brown Hair and was immediately called back the following day by one stylist who couldn't get me in as soon as I wanted, so she put out a text to the other stylists with my timing request. Britnie called me back and booked me when I needed and did a fabulous job on my all-over color. I immediately got compliments.
