This is a Hyatt Place hotel. You leave your luggage with them, same as you would if you were staying at the hotel. Luggage was stored in a large side room that was kept locked except when luggage was being left or taken. People were allowed into the room themselves, not just hotel staff. Hotel staff were not keeping careful track of how many bags were left or whether the bags taken were definitely yours. So, while it was mostly fine, it was not completely secure. In theory, someone else who left their bags there could have taken your bags and hotel staff would not have noticed. Would be better if only hotel staff entered the storage area. Can be quite busy if arriving during the morning check out time. Still, this was a nice, convenient solution for us as we were coming in from a cruise and wanting to spend time downtown before heading to an airport hotel...

We had a several hours to explore Seattle after our recent cruise and wanted to be able to do so in comfort, without dragging our luggage around with us but needing to know that it was safe and secure.
