My friend and I stopped here at the last minute not knowing the time they closed on a Sunday. The owner was wonderful, gave no hint they were about to close. He rang us up, invited us to get comfortable and put our sandwiches to toast while making coffee. Now, my family is in janitorial and construction cleaning and this place was CLEAN! It has a simply designed interior with beautiful pieces of art and warm furniture, considerately placed for any customer. He brought us our food and proceeded to make a tea that would take some time to brew as he turned the “Open” sign off. The drinks were wonderful. The Honey Latte and Himalayan (Chii?) Tea Latte were wonderful. The flavors are rich and I’m just amazed that they were able to get a temp without burning the milk or coffee. Really well done! It's like tahini and peanut butter had a love child that goes to the gym and stays extra light. It's definitely a different experience than normal espresso but it's absolutely phenomenal. It makes for great drinking plain and sweet drinks alike.
Weirdly, they also have the best macarons I've had anywhere in Seattle... And it's definitely not the kind of place I would have expected this. I'm usually not even a fan of macarons, but these are...
