Christinna's Bridal — Local services in Seattle

I know a lot of people have good experiences here and while it wasn’t my favorite bridal boutique I still think it doesn’t hurt to try out.

What I like about this place is that they have a lot of different options but ultimately did not have the style I was looking for. We had two ladies helping us out, one was very helpful, warm and kind but the other girl had a much more cold and straightforward approach.

You do have to pay for your appointment, we payed $25.

They are quite competitive as they don’t allow you to take photos of their dresses or of yourself in the dresses. My mom tried to sneak a photo and was scolded for doing so.

Personally, I find this policy odd and this is the only bridal salon that I visited with such rules. I would say they are a bit pushy when it comes to buying a dress from them which is also what I don’t like.

In addition to these things, they also don’t share the designers of the gowns and just are generally pretty secretive. To me it’s a bit sketchy. They also forbid you from touching the gowns on the rack. I somewhat understand this rule but I’ve gone to boutiques with much more experience inventory and they allow you to grab the dresses. The associate picks out dresses for you. That may sound relaxing and like it’s less work for you but in reality she kept bringing dresses that did not fit my described vision. My mom and sisters were better at choosing dresses lol. I found other bridal boutiques to be more friendly, accommodating and have better selections.

This place is very popular among the Ukrainian/Romanian community but I would recommend other places before trying this shop :)

They have a range of price points for dresses and styles but mostly traditional and trendy styles, not many unique or different dresses that you haven’t...

I spent hours researching different places and reading reviews. Christinnas seemed like the best fit. Appointment was set for a time awhile in advance. A few days before they asked to change the time, no big deal. I get there, and they would not let me in for nearly 10 minutes after my new time. The second we walked in, we all felt judged.

I was asked one question the whole appointment, what my budget was. Not who was with me, where the wedding was, or even what kind of wedding we were having.

Sitting in a fitting room for nearly an hour, practically naked, while a stranger puts dresses on you that you didnt pick and they dont even make small conversation is extremely uncomfortable.

Once I was in the appointment, they would not let me look at the racks of dresses. Only the lady helping me would grab them for me to try on. I was not able to explore the store. (We were the only people in there, staff was not wearing masks, so covid was not the concern) the second you are done trying on the dress, they put it back in a different room on the racks. So at the end, it was very hard to compare dresses.

Then, when you leave they ask you to pay an appointment fee. There was no follow up call to see if I was interested in buying a dress.

After this place was miserable, we went to my second appointment. It was amazing. They asked me so many questions and made me feel comfortable. I got a dress from BHLD instead. Completely different experience.

Overall, this place sucked. Go somewhere else if you want to feel like a bride and have your opinion and time valued.

This place is such a hidden gem and simply amazing. I had 2 ladies, not just one, picking out dresses for me the whole time while helping me try on dresses! I felt extra extra pampered & Christinna SERIOUSLY knew exactly what I wanted, down to the very small details. She was so sharp! Their bridal studio was so modern, bright, polished with FANTASTIC Lighting. Bright lights make such a huge difference. When I first walked in my eyes were twinkling with awe. Such a cute place!

They made me feel so comfortable and the best thing I liked about my visit was how PROACTIVE they were and not just reactive. They were on a mission to help me find what I wanted. But the truth is, because Christinna had such an amazing collection of dresses, I was trying on amazing dresses one after another...and another.

From the moment I walked in, they treated me like no one else mattered in the room. I'm not kidding. I found and bought the dress of my dreams that I didn't know ever existed. The price was way below my budget too! Christinna and her daughter were incredibly fashion oriented, knowledgeable about what was trending this year, and, again, had nothing but fantastic collections. You know that annoying feeling where you go to a wedding boutique, try on a million not so great dresses, the lady just doesn't get what you like, and find maybe one semi cute dress? That didn't happen here...

Christinna told us that she travels all around to attend different wedding shows and hand selects each and every dress! I could see that she and her daughter were passionate about the industry.
