As a Brown/Black, queer & non-binary person I feel so grateful for The Station. Leona & Luis are so kind and...just beautiful people. Luis often takes the time to chat with me for a couple minutes here and there and I always appreciate it. My go to is their breakfast sandwich with bacon instead of sausage and a caramel latte - light on the caramel. I order from there more than I should but it's all good. Moving on...haha...the whole team there is cool. There are times when I order and we don't really talk... and there are other times where we make small talk which leads much needed and appreciated moments of connection at times. I can just go there, get my coffee and know that I'm not going to be targeted or harassed just for existing as myself, like I have been at some other coffee shops in the city. Lastly, it's a cool place to meet up with friends, other creatives, activists, other POC, other queer folk and more. I will always be so grateful to everyone there who makes The Station what it is. Until I head out to California, this will continue to be my go-to spot in...

Way more than just another coffee shop... The Station, run by Luis and Leona Rodriguez, is the heart of the community and has transformed the neighborhood since it opened a few years back. Because of this cafe, everyone now knows everyone, and the Station's support of community art, music and general well-being is remarkable. The cafe recently moved from its small, intimate space on 16th Ave to a larger spot across the street; but it's retained all of its atmosphere, improved its food offerings, and the new espresso machine turns out fantastic coffee. Super-nice staff. Also, dog-friendly! Treats on the counter... Beacon Hill is still "unfashionable" (which we residents like, of course), and the restaurant choices here are pretty minimal compared to many other Seattle locations. But Beacon Hill has the Station, so eat your heart out, other...

This is by far my favorite coffee shop. The staff is all really friendly. The owners are very active in benefitting the community. This is an anchor of the local Beacon Ave community.

But community doesn't always mean a good cup of coffee or food... Luckily there is nothing left to be desired when it comes down to those factors! The coffee is fantastic. The food is spectacular. Their baked goods are all locally sourced. Their menu always hits the spot.

The space is decorated with local art (rotating featured artists) and many plants, which are sold by another vendor. It can get a bit loud inside sometimes, but if it does, I go outside and sit at their outdoor tables, which overlook the (you guessed it) light rail station. It's great for...

One of the coziest in Seattle, an inviting cafe that stands out for its great coffee and relaxed atmosphere. Located in the heart of the beacon hill, it offers a perfect spot to unwind or get some work done. The menu features a selection of expertly brewed coffee drinks, from lattes and cappuccinos to cold brews, all made with high-quality beans. Love their turmeric latte! They also serve a small but tasty variety of pastries and snacks to complement your drink. The space is stylish and minimalist, with a laid-back vibe that encourages customers to linger. The baristas are friendly and knowledgeable, providing excellent service with a genuine interest in helping you find the perfect drink.

Decided to check this place out with my brother and friends, decor was nice, cafe was loud a lil difficult to converse but expected in such a busy vibrant space, lots of character, great environment on a Saturday morning. We ordered the Bossman, coco chai and bowl of soul The drinks were phenomenal super creamy and with great foam with a super tasty blend of spices and the portions were large. Sadly the bossman was a little bit underseasoned and somewhat pricey so that was a disappointment. Overall definitely will come back and looking forward tp trying more on the menu.

This place is like a breathe of fresh air in Seattle. I live further into Seattle, and The Station just brings an authentic warmness that is rare to glimpse and even harder to consistently find in Seattle. Walking through the door into hearing Nina Simone and Marvin Gaye on the radio, and then being met with eye contact and a warm smile from both baristas. When I took a sip of their signature drink, the Mocha Mexicano, it felt like a hug from mom in a cup. Just what I needed on this drizzly autumn morning; coming here made my day.
