Before I share my experience with the store clerk, I just would like to say, overall, this is my “lil diamond in the rough” . I’m not sure what his name is, I believe Ken is his name. I bought some detergent, and realized when I was about to do laundry , that it was fabric softener. My issue is when I bought it I had him double check the container to make sure and he verified and confirmed that it was detergent. I just recently had a procedure on my right eye, that’s why I asked if he could check just in case I missed something. When I take it back the next day for an exchange or something he basically said no return policy. Even with a receipt. He said I opened it. I could’ve lied and said I didnt. But why do all that for an honest mistake he made. But whatever, if he would’ve atleast took responsibility in it himself. Used to frequent this place with my family, I went in and bought some snacks but when I opened the ice cream bar it was a completely different product from the photo displayed.. I’m not a fan of Carmel so I politely asked the owner if I can trade it in for something different or the one in the photo advertised. I tried to give it back , he refused it and said “ oh you don’t like it?!!” And threw $3 dollars at me !!! Honestly f him I won’t spend another dime there. I've lived in the Seattle neighborhood my whole life (34yrs), and have never had to argue or question pricing/ discounts, but here they made me feel like I was traveling in a foreign land when they tendered my items.

In addition, the receipt was not itemized nor did it reflect accurate tax amounts.

I'm not trying to say the owners aren't nice, I'm saying say that they are doing shady business so be extra careful- forewarning don't get taken advantage...
