Wonderful products, Horrible customer service.
I had to wait for paying my things until the previous costumer finished selecting and shopping her products for 15min - 20min even though I went there for buying only shapoo and conditioner. (I asked for paying the products the moment I entered the store.)
What kind of store is this that costomer has to check out not based on who’s done for shopping but in order to enter the store?!
Then is that mean 2nd costumer who enter the store and done for her shopping in 1min has to wait for 1st costumer finish to shop and done for the payment for 15min-20min? This is ridiculous.
I REALLY wanted to leave the store if today is not my best friend’s birthday.
The only girl who were the store. She naver greeted the customer till pay the stuffs, never ask if I need any help, and spend more than 10min with other customer for only checking out process by making a wonderful conversation and recommending the products. With me, no words. No apologies. There was only two customer in the boutique. Is this discrimination or what?!
And the only girl who are in the store said she is a store manager. I wish I didn’t know this.
Even though I’m from New York , I’ve never experienced this poor attitude and service from any other luxury boutique or places, especially from the store manager’s level of the service.
I asked for a gift wrap but she offered shopping bag with tissue paper until I ask again if they have at least box for the gift.
So I’d rather order from Soho directly or will go Nordstrom for try out.
Even though we’ve been purchasing -5 bottles of shampoo, -5 bottles of conditioner, -4 bottles of body wash, -2 containers of hair wax so far in 3month at this store, we’re done with this location.
And I’ve been using the products for 2 years, and visited tons of Le Labo boutiques all over the world more than 30times due to my work, this store is the worst.
I’m gonna report this to the company, too. But the products are the world best, for sure. I’m gonna keep using it, but just not...
Read moreUpdate: Dani, the store manager, reached out to me after my review, seen below, posted and asked if I would meet with her regarding my store experience. I agreed and we had a good conversation about customer service, being a new store, and trying to find a balance of being casual but still maintaining a level of service that is expected with a luxury brand. I think she is intent on finding that balance with her store and I wish her the very best. Dani was kind enough to give me a bunch of samples of products I had yet to try which was very generous. I will stop in again, if I see her in the window , and purchase that secret candle-it smelled divine.
Horrible customer service with no incentive to return. While holding a bottle of Santal 33, I was greeted with a "is that it?" from the sales associate. She was helping another customer who didn't look too happy and from the jump, I could tell why. Take your business to the Downtown Nordstrom LeLabo if you want a more customer centric experience. There is an attention to detail, good customer service, and an engagement that is more professional and in line with this expensive brand. Plus, you can get samples of anything without there being a charge-something that this location does not do. This shop will be gone soon if it doesn't...
Read moreWalked into Le Labo after a nice breakfast at Oddfellows. David was extremely informative and nice. We received a full education on fragrances and he walked us through all of their scents. I narrowed it down to 3 that I really liked but couldn't figure out the one. Instead of going all in on an expensive bottle, he suggested I get smaller bottles of the 3 scents. Now I can try them all out over the next couple of weeks. Once I figure out "The One," David said I can call up there, he will mix me up a fresh bottle and ship it down to Texas for me. By far my greatest experience buying fragrances, and I have bought hundreds of different brands. Le Labo's scents are like none other. They bring the authentic smell to your nose and it takes you back to forgotten memories. You also imagine all the new memories you will make while wearing their scents. 10/10 would recommend stopping by. Ask for David.
P.S.-David also wrote down notes of restaurants and attractions to visit that websites and YouTube would've never suggested. We got better treatment here than I could've...
