Seattle Bubble Tea Lovers: Obsessed with Soy Milk Golden Oolong

I came there to pick up an Instacart order. The sign said 30 minutes free parking. I saw that, and my order was very small. I came back quickly in 10 minutes, but they fined me $75 for those 10 minutes. The “30 minutes free” is a trick, a scam, because they don’t warn you. If you want to register there, you have to pay a minimum fee of $8 or $20. There is no free parking, you understand? This is a very unprofessional place, and they don’t even cancel the ticket. This is complete nonsense. If parking is free for 30 minutes, then write in big letters that you need to register. Registration costs such and such amount. What kind of inhumane behavior is this? I earned only $100 that day, and I have to give $75 for the ticket. This is complete nonsense, I have nothing more to say.

I love QFC it's one of the better Kroger owned stores. It's a clean store, and the floral department is one of the better ones. I also prefer the deli at the Capitol Hill store. The produce is always fresh and good selection for meat and seafood. This particular market has free 1-hr parking in the garage. The validation scanner is near the elevator in store. Curb side pick up in the garage is available.

I have a parking ticket on Friday night around 9 PM, 09/15/2023, along with other customers at that time.

We are regular customers at this place, we went here for UPS, Chipotle, and QFC quite often. There were a lift barrier with ticket booth at the ramp entrance from Broadway street, then the ticket would be validated easily after shopping at QFC. Great. Then the barrier were removed and we have been parking in the basement parking lots to shop at QFC with no problem until recently at aforementioned the time and date, we got a parking ticket, even though we (my wife and I) only shopped for around 20 minutes in QFC and Chipotle. Importantly, the noticeable sign at the lot where I parked clearly say 1 hour free for "Customer", which I believe I was, with no further instruction. I came back to the QFC store and asked the staff on floor. None of them knew exactly how to handle this or had a clear answer. They told us that the building had recently change the way they manage the parking lots but they did not know the exact detail and reached out to their store manager. Unfortunately the store manage was on his lunch break and would not be available for the next 20 minutes or so. I called the number on the ticket, no pickup; other customer and I did also wait for the person who ticketed us a bit but none showed up for a while. We could not wait more because it was already late for us, especially I had an early trip on the next morning.

On the way back to the car I now see there were 2 red signage informed about the new parking registration and validation method. Those 2 signs are place on wall of the back ramp leading to QFC from the garage. Yes I can confirm there are signs about the change, however, the signs are not apparent to the customers (evidence in that I am not the only customer got confused about the tickets that night, I can count at least more than 5 customers faced that situation at that time after happily shopping at QFC). Those signs are placed on the walls that are heavily covered by advertisement graphic; not to mention the signs were blended in the walls with similar colors. This is not a clear way to inform customers of a change in operation. There are also 2 tiny notices on letter-size paper at a ticket booth. The parking signages at the front ramp entrance (from Broadway street) remains the old signage.

As customers who have been gotten used to with the shopping experience in the place when the barrier was lifted for a long time, how would you expect the customer to change shopping habit in a short a mount of time with unclear notice and instruction, especially the first impression when entering the basement parking lot remains the same with the old parking signages? Those new notices may work for new and passing-by customers, but may not for those who shop there often in with established shopping habit and expectations.

There is no information about the amount of fine established in any signs that I could fine. Furthermore, a $93 parking ticket applied (with no disputes accepted note) for a 20 minute shopping is extremely unreasonably high compared to the average private parking in the area even if the reason for the ticket is right in the first place. Please review how your parking management parker operation and manage the parking on your property, even the participant stores do not know the exact and and process, how would you expect your loyal customers know?

A warning or at least more effort in noticing customer in signage and informing customer in the transitioning time of a change would be more appreciated by customers more than a sudden high fine. We as customers appreciate the place but not the way we got treated recently.

The building management team told us that they had no authority over parking management. I called Impark parking to ask about this, after a long process of automatic answering and a long wait to get a hold of an agent, they didn't listen, all they said at the end was to tell me to go back and read all the signs and there was no disputes...

I live just a few blocks from this store. As far as it's location is concerned, it is, or rather, would be, convenient for my shopping.

However, the out-sourced security persons repeatedly prove themselves inept and incompetent! The store has an absurdly high level of loss due to theft, in spite of the presence of security persons. Add to this, while the security persons are utterly incapable of reducing shoplifting, they aggressively assault, due to idiotic 'profiling' techniques, regular, paying customers!!!!

I don't understand the mentality of ignoring the employees and others who blatantly, are stealing.... .....while actively assaulting their paying customers!

Additionally, there is one particular member of the store's Management staff who repeatedly assaults myself and others with either no cause, or for reasons which can only be attributed to ignorance of the law, and a serious personal inferiority complex. This person should be terminated, with cause! His name is PATRICK!! Hey Store Manager: Brian, do you hear me? TERMINATE PATRICK, with cause and replace your Loss Prevention staff, with members of a capable, competent, intelligent team!

There is, VERY soon, to be a new Whole Foods store, to be opening, about 1.5 blocks from this store. As well, there is another QFC location on Broadway, at Republican.

I can only hope that Kroger, the parent company of this QFC store closes this redundant, soon to be pointless, store in the extremely near future.... .....as this store is a severe blight on our neighborhood, fore the above reasons!

AVOID SHOPPING AT THIS STORE IF...

It's a nice friendly Oasis. It usually comes down to those who work at any job to set the tempo and vibe. In some areas of Seattle it's like the hood. You walk in thinking you'll hear Rap Hip Hop and see gang member's at the door. And in many cases you hear a getto slang like speech from those at the business. Washington State is changing. I'd say it's truly becoming a third world Country. It could become a Africa Mexico China Korea. The civilized people who follow the law are becoming potential victims in an ongoing war of civil rights the US no longer needs. We need hard laws and tough law enforcement. If people don't follow the commands of law enforcement they should be dealt with swiftly with force. The nice loving caring none forceful police in the US would work better in the UK. Hate is the new Seattle I'm not apart of. Well that's my overview. I'm easy going and a veteran I see people who are dangerous almost every time I go out. Even at the gym. Be safe my friends, I care...
