Pretty Parlor — Local services in Seattle

Came here today as part of a trip with my sisters and best friend and left incredibly upset. Went inside and looked at the clothes. Saw that they had a bridal section in the back and decided to walk over to that side. Let it be known that it was an open hallway connecting the two sides. There were no signs anywhere saying you couldn’t go back there and I had already seen her take someone else over there. Once I went to that side, one of the employees said that I needed to leave since it’s by appointment only. I told her I wasn’t trying anything on, I just liked vintage clothes and was curious to see what they had. She told me again very loudly and rudely that it was by appointment only. Basically, gtfo. She ruined my whole experience and almost the whole day itself. What a horrible way to treat customers, especially as a small business that depends on people coming back. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. She needs to learn some manners and how to properly communicate...

The shopping experience was lovely, but once I paid it was pulling teeth to pick up my purchases. They didn’t answer my calls or voicemails, and we had to schedule multiple appointments that they didn’t open the store for to try and get in to pick up my order. I eventually had to get someone else who worked in the area involved to speak to the building manager to get them to speak with me. After literally two months, I finally got my order.

To top it all off, the shoes I bought had the soles fall off after an hour of wear. I am so deeply disappointed. The salesperson really knows how to put the shine on the you know what. Cannot discourage you strongly enough from going here. Cheap products that I found later on AliExpress with a HUGE markup in store, unprofessional service, and just the biggest headache. I will tell everyone from now on that this is my favorite store ever. The staff here REALLY know what they're doing and pulled several pieces for me that I ended up loving. They listened to me and were honest when something needed to be a different size or if a style wasn't working. So many dresses and skirts with pockets and sizes for all kinds of bodies and styles. Really amazing accessories and the entire place is adorable. They even gave me a free accessory with my purchase. I even accidentally left my debit card there overnight and they held it safely for me, even going as far as contacting me on social media to try and return it.
