I walked into Ritual House of Yoga not having much experience about yoga. Of course, this can be somewhat intimidating when you are about to try something new. I took a vinyasa and myofascial release class with Betsy Shilling and it was a wonderful experience. It has a nice relaxed atmosphere and I immediately felt welcomed when I walked into the studio. Betsy took the time to make sure everyone was performing the movements with good form and was not at risk of injuring themselves. I was so happy to see Tai subbing class and jumped at the chance to try out this studio that I've also heard many good things about for quite some time. The space is welcoming and thoughtfully designed. There are mats, blocks, straps, and bolsters for use as well as cubbies and lockers (bring your own lock, but they also lock the doors during class). Read moreEvery Monday night, rain or shine, I drive about an hour so not to miss Christine’s 7pm class. I still can hardly believe what a special experience she creates. A combination of astrology, sound art, breathwork, intuitive guidance, she sings like she can feel my deep feelings and paint them with her voice. I routinely have an experience with myself that feels magical and allows me to be more fully with myself. I laugh & cry and am always grateful. She is creating something so spot on and gorgeous right on the edge of art & yoga.
