I loved everything about the Tall Chef catering my wedding. I didn't have a wedding planner, so great communication and timely responses were really valuable given I didn't really know what I was doing. I asked a million questions throughout the planning process and was always met with quick and thorough responses.

As for the food and drinks, they were absolute hit, we got a lot of compliments. We didn't do any alcohol at our wedding, just the ginger limeade and tropical tea. It may feel like a small part of the meal, but people LOVED them. Many people directly came up to me to compliment the drinks. And the food was of course loved as well, with the polenta and the Rachel's Ginger Beer pork being notable favorites.

Also, throughout my catering search, it was very hit-or-miss on how extensive allergen and dietary restriction info was addressed. I'm allergic to a lot of things, so this was really important to me, and I felt really confident going with The Tall Chef. They very clearly addressed how they would accommodate all guests.

During the event, we were well taken care of. I meant to ask if the groom and I would be saved some apps while we did an outfit change during cocktail hour, but I forgot. No worries though, because we had our own special little tray of the appetizers and drinks set in our dressing room without me asking. There was also a slight ceremony delay, and the chef came by before dinner with a suggested timeline adjustment, and we simply gave the go-ahead and he handled the shift.

A bridesmaid of mine has wedding planning experience, so she's worked with a lot of vendors, and she said she was so impressed with how amazing The Tall Chef was with every aspect of the day. We loved them! I'd absolutely recommend...

Kate and The Tall Chef were absolutely wonderful to work with for our wedding! They made the process easy from start to finish and we have received so many compliments on the food. The tasting at Trinity Tree Farm was a lovely date night, and all of the food was so delicious that it was clear we couldn't go wrong with any selection. We went with the PNW menu and while the whole thing was incredible, the Fried Chicken & Waffle Cones, savory Chèvre Macarons, and Pork Shoulder Braised in Rachel's Ginger Beer were stand outs.

We had a lot of questions through the planning process and Kate was so patient with us answering them all. Their partnership with Pedersen's made selecting rentals a breeze and they even went above and beyond to help coordinate the delivery and pickup of our chair rentals as well which was much appreciated.

The food day-of not only tasted delicious, but looked incredible as well. We also had a number of guests with celiac and vegan diet restrictions which they had no problem accommodating. They had dishes set aside at the buffet to be served upon request to avoid any cross contamination, and we heard from our vegan guests that the curry dish offered was delicious. Our experience from the beginning was great! We went for the tasting and Chef Roger’s was super friendly! He welcomed us with some champagne and served the food we chose prior to coming on beautiful dishes and a beautifully decorated table set up. It was all so delicious it was hard to narrow things down! We chose beef tenderloin and salmon (so good!). The appetizers were delish! Chicken waffle bites, the shrimp skewers (yum). He welcomed any flavor changes (but we had none!) and even accommodated our vegan guests at no extra charge.

Kate was so helpful with helping to keep costs down and adjusting the last minute guest count changes.

Ok, so now the staff on wedding day was amazing!! Friendly, quick and professional! We had a server just for us and she was great at making sure we had everything we needed at ALL times.
