I really do enjoy coming here to do my nails, atmosphere wise.
I believe the girls working are always in a discouraging mood & take turns taking walk-ins, on top of their appointments.
This is my 3rd appointment here. The first time I was here, I did gel & they came out lovely. The was $35+$55=$90 The second time around I did the same & they came out very nice, also for the same $90
The third time I accidentally smashed my thumb against my steering wheel & the nail was completely broken. Due to the type of polish I had on, the nail was hanging by just that. She very kindly helped me remove the polish so she could cut the nail correctly after I smashed it. I asked if I could clean up the dried up blood for a moment & she had an issue with me trying to clean myself up. She just wanted to paint over the painful nail & call it a day. When I refused to proceed until I could clean myself, she started giving me unnecessary attitude.
When she was done with my nails she asked me to wash my hands. I noticed I still had residual product under my nails & asked if she could fix it. She kept grabbing at the nail filer to shape my nails. I told her nicely that's not what I needed, but the hook looking tool & she proceeded to be upset with attitude towards me. At this point I just wanted to leave.
I asked her the price & she told me $90. Which is what I paid the last two times with gel, not dip. I asked her if the prices for gel & dip were the same, & now she was just shouting at me that she was the one on the phone who spoke to me & that I never asked for a price. I told her I know I spoke with her, but that this doesn't answer my original question about the price. She just kept getting upset & insisting that this was the price, that how dare I even think it's any less. I assumed it was more , but just...
Read morehad my nail few times at this salon but i would never come back (i loved jenny and may they are the only 👍🏻 one)
I asked for just ONE nail extension because I accidentally cut that finger and wanted my nails to be the same length. The nail tech had the audacity to question why I would even want that???? SERIOUSLY? Isn’t that literally your job?
Then she gave me this super curved extension, and when I politely asked her to file underneath to fix her mistake, she goes, “Why do I have to do that for you?” “How does this nail hurt you?” Are you kidding me?
And don’t even get me started on the shape LOL I asked for coffin nails, and somehow ended up with ALL different shapes across ten fingers. When I pointed it out, she said “Well, that’s your natural nail shape. You can’t have coffin nails.” Girl, I’ve had coffin nails before, many times, from other techs who knew what they were doing. That excuse makes zero sense.
And then the kicker, she told me, “If you want it the way you want, do it at home yourself.” I’m sorry, what?? I’m paying you for a service. I have every right to ask for what I want.
before you get snarky with your customer, maybe focus on actually doing your job right. Be a decent nail tech first, then we’ll see.
she didnot even have a professional method to remove your old gel nail so she put plastic tip underneath my gel to get rid of it yall now my nails are like paper the charged me 25 bucks
+made me wait for 20mins when i had a reservation at 6 they never had a...
Read moreThis is the first place I have ever gone to get my nails done. I have to say I absolutely loved the experience. The environment was clean, it was well ventilated and the tech was so friendly! This place is very hygienic which is always reassuring. I will definitely come back here again when I need my nails done next time.
2 Month update: I went with my friend to go treat ourselves today by getting nails done. The nail techs were very quick and efficient in doing their jobs, unfortunately the clarity and transparency of prices isn’t there unless you book manually. We are students over at North Seattle College, we struggle already as students financially and we were informed that they take student discounts. Not only were my friend and I speaking about midterms and classes throughout our session but we had physical proof our id cards proving that we were indeed students. I even showed them my school app and yet our IDs didn’t count due to a lack of an expiration date. I’m sorry that you felt we tried to scam you and get a discount but we are genuinely students, we spent over a 100 dollars and I’m sorry we tried to make it fit in our budget a little more and for that I have to take stars away....
