This is the ONLY doughnut spot that I know stays open late during the week (til 9pm). There was a great selection of donuts available, even though I stopped by after 6p, but they weren't the freshest batch and I suppose that's the give. I'm not going to hold that against them though. I came in for the first time while on a random mission to find a new pod for my box mod vape. There is a gas station, 420 dispensary, vape/smoke shop and doughnut factory in this little business complex--the convenience is really unmatched. However, there is such a teeny parking lot that isn't the easiest to get into. There are only about 10 parking spots for this entire, wonderfully thoughtful, cluster of collaborative businesses--which is ridiculous. Couple that with an annoying population of riff-raff that just aimlessly walk around and that's why I couldn't give a 5 star rating. I still loved this place though and will definitely be back again.

Now these are some fantastic donuts! I have no idea why people go to Dunkin Donuts when there is Donut Factory around. The variety of the donuts is incredible. The quality is amazing. They are fresh, and even good the next day. We visited this place after visiting the U of W campus. This would be a short walk for students if they want donuts. There is even a Subway sandwich shop next store, and a pot shop. I guess these restaurants do good business being next to their shop. The munchies… 🌱 😁

Overall a pretty middling experience. The place is to go only, so I got my donut and went to a bubble tea place across the street for somewhere to sit. The cashier was super nice, but the fruity pebbles donut I got tasted stale and was about on par with Walmart or Fred Meyer bakery offerings. The donut shop suffers from it's location, which really isn't the fault of the business itself, but the area around it is less than ideal and had a lot of broken glass. Spent around $3 for the donut.

A sweet spot for all the college students. They have a happy hour the hour before closing for cheaper deals and also offer a 10% discount for various cards (Husky/Military/Orca). My complaint is that they don't accept ice cream sandwich orders in the last hour or so and that lines up with happy hour, so you can't get both a donut ice cream sandwich and a deal, but it's not too harsh especially if you understand the ice cream sandwiches take more time.

I liked Donut Factory donuts in my high school days in the Edmonds area and the experience is pretty comparable, so a note for anyone who's familiar with that location. Service and friendliness here is better, though. Regular donuts are indicated by the black trays and "fancy" donuts are white trays. Big fan of the fancy options as they can be pretty unique and mouthwatering to look at. I'm not a fan of the prices because I'm spoiled with a WinCo, but obviously you get what you pay for and the quality (+freshness) here is unmatched. Each donut reignites my sweet tooth though, so I can't just have one donut unfortunately.

Seems that they have vegan donuts available on specific days only. Didn't interfere with my order in the end but originally wanted to pick one up for a friend.

Anyways, bring some friends or bring some donuts to your friends. They'll...

IF you're in the area AND IF money is no object, then you're good. The donuts are overall good.

The Bad:

  1. It's extremely expensive. You're paying $3 or $4 for a donut that you could find anywhere else for 1/2 , 1/3, or 1/4 the price.
  2. For the price, I expect something amazing. The only reason I came here was to try out the Ferrero Rocher donut. The normal Ferrero Rocher chocolate is amazing for two simple reasons, it contains Nutella and Hazelnut. I expected the donut to contain Nutella and Hazelnut. Instead, it was just not-so-great dark chocolate glazing with peanuts. It's a completely different taste, the Ferrero Rocher in the middle feels like an afterthought.
  3. I ordered a lemon filled donut... Except it had no filling at all. I could see the hole where they're supposed to fill it but they had forgotten to fill it.
  4. I also got the glazed buttermilk bar, it was very dense and dry.
  5. Got the chocolate coconut cake and you couldn't taste the coconut while the cake was very dry.

The good:

  1. the filled donuts (Bavarian cream, raspberry) are very good, plain donut as well.
  2. Bacon Maple Bar was absolutely delicious. Hats off on this one.

In conclusion, they have good donuts but for the price you can go somewhere else and get something comparable or better at a substantial...

Love-love -LOVE this place! My boyfriend and I are donut fanatics and are always trying to find the perfect 206 maple bar and thought we'd found it in the Northern "north" end at a local bakery until we stopped here one morning on a whim, and oh, boy! We were ever glad we did because their maple bars (along with every other donut we tried, which has been a plethora of such over the past month or so because we regrettably live only blocks away from this place but maybe not so regrettably because I need the extra calories 😁) were so perfect! Just enough maple frosting, perfect length and the absolute most bestest moist-ness dough, and if maple bars aren't your thing, no problemo because they have all sorts of other donuts! (A couple of my other favorites being the regular cake donut with white frosting and sprinkles and also the cinnamon roll) Anyway, if you're in the area, and in the mood for something sweet, stop by their quaint little shop and grab something to your liking, you won't be disappointed! (One little qualm might be that their location is a little awkward, as is their parking lot but I won't dock them any stars cause that's not essentially their fault, just...
