I went to Marshalls/Homegoods located in Secaucus, NJ, I was buying lots of things and when the cashier told me my total was $47 I ask her to check again because only a handbag I was getting was $49 she then called another cashier and they figured out she didn’t scan most of the items already bagged…as I was ready to insert my card and pay somehow she “by mistake” entered $40 in cash (I had not given to her)and of course it was a mess they couldn’t fix, they called “the manager” he said to scan everything as a return and redo the whole transaction (at this point I haven’t paid or bought anything yet) when they did, there was some money missing and the totals were different, he came and fixed it and gave me a return receipt for me to sign as if I received $175, I refused since i didn’t return anything nor received cash money from them, he tried to force into signing the receipt and since i stood my ground, he asked me to leave the store and refused to sell me anything, they have some shady business going on there and that’s their way to justify money coming out of the register, I tried to call and speak with someone but they simply don’t care, maybe they are all in it together,...
Read moreSpent over 15 minutes on line on a Saturday afternoon. When we finally got to the register we were told our item had an incorrect tag. The item we were purchasing was price at 16.99. The cashier called for help & asked another employee to do a price check. We were told the item should have been priced $29.99. I asked to speak to a manager & we were told by the manager that there was nothing she could do & if we wanted the item we would have to pay $29.99. Considering we spent over 15 minutes on line we would have been happy to pay the $29.99 if she had offered us a discount of 10-15% which is basically the equivalent of a COUPON!!!!! But in this case the customer who spent over 15 minutes on line was penalized because the item they wanted to purchased was priced incorrectly. In this store the customer is always wrong. Extremely disappointed with the service...
Read moreI was waiting for the bus after coming from Khols and my bus didn't arrive so I went to shop in Marshals to pass time. Well I got my merchedise and went to go on line, the line had approximately 8 ppl and I waited, and waited. They only had two registers open. In Khols they at least call for cashier assistance when they have four ppl on line when the cashiers are busy. Here they never called once and I had to end up leaving the store so I didn't miss my bus. The bus never came so I decided to head back to see if it had shorten(I stayed outside for 20/25 mins) when I came back it had grown almost twice its size and they had now ONE cashier and two ppl doing recovery. The place was also a mess. I had to leave everything once again. The only reason why this gets one star is because the security guard was...
