Worst customer service with an online return. Arrived in the store at 1, asked two employees how to handle the return because I needed a 1/2 size larger. After checking the floor stock I could not find the size needed. Apparently, they can not check their stock from the register? Ok, picked out another pair and waited behind 3 others to check out. They could not do the return but yes of course they could ring up the new pair and I would have to go to customer service to return original pair because they were purchased online? Reminded cashier that I already waited on line, but she reassured me there would not be a line in the back. Walked to back and got on line behind one person, not too bad, but unfortunately Betty took forever to process this customer and she felt it necessary to explain why it took so long in a complaining fashion. My turn a few minutes later, a woman walks up and gets on line behind me. Betty asked if I could let this lady go ahead of me, she wanted to ring something up and have it gift wrapped, and I said no. From that point on I was the devil reincarnated! Betty apologized to everyone for their wait, except of course me. At 2, she told me I would have to come back for the return. I told her I would never put myself through this experience again. Finally, around 2:15 or so, somehow I got my return. Beware returns!
Beware returns!! My sister bought my daughter some shorts. Unfortunately they were to small. I figured I could just go in and do an even swap for the next size. Because I didn't have the receipt when they rang them up I owed 6.00. I'm done!! Just go to Target they are a much easier suite to ship at and have cuter clothes!!

Read moreThe lady at the register was pleasant and courteous but she tried to stop me from skipping a charitable donation when I was trying to checkout. She tried objecting saying that it was for a good cause. I will never make a charitable donation on behalf of a corporate entity. All Bealls will do anyways is use it as a tax write-off on your behalf. I just wanted a belt and I had to wait 10 minutes to check out as they tried the same spiel on other customers in front of me. There was a massive line and I could hear other customer's comments about the wait time and the speed of the checkout process. There was consistently 6-7 people in line or more, some with carts full of items, and only 2 employees on registers.
You can tell that they are instructed to be sharks for obtaining that donation or a new rewards sign up. I'm assuming they're incentivized for how many donations or rewards sign ups they can get. It felt like she didn't want to let it go without saying something. I'll avoid coming back after...
