Sample of foods offered, a nice touch. Friendly staff, atmosphere. The side of grapes with cream and a sugar type crunch topping was very nice.
Sadly, the chicken salad sandwich I got, though tasty, did not have very much chicken salad on it at all. In fact, one had to press down on the croissant in order to actually feel the chicken salad inside thus leaving one to feel they are taking a bite mostly of the croissant bread than the chicken salad.
Maybe they offer double scoops if you pay extra, I guess nowadays you have to accept $10 only gets you so much in the way of food. And indeed to get any meal for $10, it seems is a deal now days.
Should have taken a photo of the inside of the sandwich though did not think about it at the time. At any rate, well lite. The glass windows gives it an opening feeling plus outside tables if wanted.
Bonus was the watermelon flavored iced tea although when we went back for seconds that container was removed since I guess everybody liked it and they ran out and we didnāt wait for it to be refilled.
Though given mostly high stars, in the end, if one is left askingā¦āwhere is the chicken saladā then the rating is knocked down...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI Finally checked out Chicken Salad Chick after a very long time of wanting to try it out. The atmosphere is very nice. The place was clean and inviting. I got the Olivia's Old South style Chicken Salad on a Croissant with a side of Mac &Cheese. I have had many Southern Style Chicken Salad Sandwiches, however, this was not like any of those. The Salad wasn't bad, just different from what I was expecting. I added Mustard and some more Mayo to help it out. The Croissant was very good. Fresh, flaky and not hard or tough. There was definitely not enough Salad on the Sandwich. The Mac &Cheese was not as pleasant. The Noodles were overcooked and the Cheese was grainy and not smooth like a melted Cheese. I also got a Soup just to try it. I got the Loaded Potato Soup. I wasn't keen on the Bacos, and not enough Potatoes. I would get it again, but without the Bacos. The Cookie they give you for a little dessert was very good. I will have to go again and try...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt's a cute little Southern favorite for casual dining. The chicken salad comes in multiple flavors, including some that are savory, classic, or mixed with fruit and nuts. You can get the favorites to go in containers next to the register, including the grape salad side. Menu options include soups, salads, pimento cheese, and croissant sandwiches. You can have the option of swapping your crackers with celery if you request it. I highly recommend Sassy Scotty, Lauryn's Lemon Basil, and Fancy Nancy flavors. And the watermelon tea is super tasty!
The place is popular and does get quite busy at meal times. Be prepared for a wait in line, or possibly a seat. It's located in the central portion of Seminole City Center, facing the gym and diagonal of Maple Street Biscuit Co. My mother orders catering from here, and the staff is always helpful, outgoing, and easy to work with. The recipients of the food are always very pleased with the...
