I feel it’s only right to tell the people what’s going on at this location, the health department has been here a couple times and has failed the people as a whole. The spades kept in the spade well sit in still water for extended periods of time allowing bacteria to grow on the spades they scoop ice cream with, if you’ve ever gotten sick that could potentially be why. You could of also gotten sick due to the fruit fly infestation they have at this location, fruit flies have been seen flying into the ice cream machine while the ice cream is being made, flying into the mix ins we put into people ice cream, flying onto the stone and even flying into the geaha where the ice cream is held. If that’s not bad enough there is mold on the geaha doors where the ice cream is held that’s served to customers, there’s mold spores behind the blast freezer in the back that I was told if you flick water on it the mold spores would pop up. If that doesn’t gross you out enough to stay away from this location I don’t know what will. On top of that if you are looking to work here it’s not worth it, not only is it a health risk being around the mold I talked about they don’t fix stuff that breaks if it’s not a freezer, fridge or geaha. They cut hours on people randomly and hire new people constantly (no one wants to stay there) they dont put into consideration that you have a life outside work and will randomly ask you to cover for them weather it be one of their birthdays, people being sick or them firing someone when they already put them on the new schedule. They do not treat everyone equally there, leads are 100% favorited while regular crew members can get in trouble for being on their phone, standing around when not busy, sitting in her one office chair while leads can do the same and not be yelled at or lectured. To make this all worse there are 3 locations owned by this owner and the one location at palm harbor is known for having cockroaches so bad you might end up bringing some home with you if you bring a bag in there (scary). I’m sorry I did not do this sooner and I hope no one has gotten really sick, thank you for taking the time to read all of this have a good day.
It has been brought to my attention that there are now fake reviews being put up due to me...
Read moreLet me tell you a tale: Two years ago I ordered a custom ice cream cake from another anonymous Coldstone in Largo. No, let's leave a little more mystery to not shame them further..one on the Bluffs of Bellaire. Despite putting this order in a solid week in advance, no cake was to be had when I arrived for pick up. I was told they received the order too late from their system the day prior and they could not make it in time. Y'all couldn't at least call me so I wasn't cakeless on my friend's birthday? They gave me a premade and did not refund the custom upcharge that location required. I was told I would have to call back when the manager was in. Two calls, a negative Google review review, and two years later I still have not heard from this ghost manager. Am I still salty about this? Maybe. That's why I require so much chilly sugar dairy to even this out.
Flash forward to this year where I said "Hey, what the hell, I'll try it short notice at the new Seminole location and see what I get." Team Seminole knocked it out of the park, got it done in under the 24 hour requirement and pick up was a breeze. Thank you, Seminole...
Read moreI love Coldstone and this location has great customer service but I must say that the chocolate toppings needs to be regularly checked for freshness as the last two times I’ve gotten chocolate pieces added they were extremely hard and so much so that it didn’t blend well with the smooth ice-cream! Some of the pieces weren’t even edible due to how hard they were! Im not expecting them to be soft but I know chocolate and these toppings has been out in the air too long and maybe even expired! Please if management is reading this I urge you to check your toppings regularly. The young people working are trying their best but they can use some pointers on checking the toppings, rotating them, not just adding the fresh on top so the old stays old that’s already in the jar, not good. I’d also like to see them be more clean with the stone moving from customer to customer as well as washing and sanitizing those ice cream scoopers. Not just dipping them in i suppose fresh water and moving on to the next customer… Thank you sincerely a regular to this place since day one of the location opening… Hold up the standard, nothing...
